I think Cleary Sr will hold Cleary Jr out next week versus Souths. Sorry Milch, but here comes a narrative.

Grand Final rematch game, but Cleary Sr will know that Penrith have nothing to prove to the 2022 version of Souths (and likely don't need Cleary Jr to win anyway), but also that Souths are a petty bunch who might want to slug their way to some revenge if the game is out of hand (or even just from the getgo!), with Cleary Jr likely a huge target of their frustration. Easier to humiliate Souths without using their first string halfback and then bring him in for a nice soft Bulldogs game the following week.

I am not sure why everyone is convinced that Frawley won't play decent minutes. He played a lot of Hooker in the Junior Grades and was resigned this year.

Starling could definitely be a wait and see if you do not have HOK depth issues. There is no guarantee of his value even with HODGSON out. He is not as good IRL as his fantasy potential suggests

As others have said, just saw in the warm ups there is a bit of rain. Might put the C on Fifita instead of Hynes. Ipap against the storm so he's a no go aswell.

Anyone have inside on how fantasy scores are affected by rain?

Nothing concrete, but I think the theory is that outside backs suffer as the game is slugged out in the middle by the forwards.
