I actually like that Starling comes off the bench, he has shown he has the eye for the sprint past the markers, which will add to his chances of scoring, he has more energy to not slip off tackles and was a bit of a linchpin for attacking moves.

Basically he does a job.

This time of year is about making sure you have good cover, decent cows and get lucky with dodging major injuries.

Starters will probably be Tamou, Ofa and Twal.
Musgrove/Seyfarth and maybe Mikaele off the bench

Also depends if there is ever a team shakeup to try and get the team playing to a first grade standard


Fantasy wise best result would be rushing Fainu into first grade (there is no basis more than mattnz-style optimism behind that statement)

Yeah team isn’t in bad shape overall. Just a few guys with some role and scoring question marks on them. Will reassess next week depending on TLT.

Likewise for me, katoa injury fucked me a bit this week, and penis-in-me's score.

Could play bully over one of those two but not sure i can trust dessie. Sort of feel a late switch to bench could happen too

Still a lot of guns under performing and not many cows putting their hands up so I think patience will be the key

Problem is, I don't see him having another quiet one against the Tigers next week.

Buying Fifita instead of Haas is my biggest regret so far.

Do you think he would average 60+ or just 50+?

In all seriousness he got put through holes twice last night on the edge before being rounded up by cover defence. In round 1 vs Eels same thing happened before Gutherson rounded him up

Any one of those tackles miss Fifita is suddenly averaging in the mid to high 50s and no one is complaining

The points and tries will come because he is a freakish talent, there just probably won't be 17 of them

I think my score is pretty average this round, still have Burton, Ming, Haas(C), Nanai and Walters and sitting at 9k overall, haven't had too many injuries, so average start to date.
