Looking at Fifita I think he has had a slow start fitness wise which underpins his output to date.

No doubt he averages 55-60 by the end of the year, but there will be volatility.

Sitting on 575 with Haas (C) Burton Nanai Ming and Bully to come. Should crack 800, hoping for 850

I don't have AFB but do have Katoa, Bullemor and Leo Thompson in the 17

I have the same players left to play, but am 136 points behind. The differences:

- iPap owned AFB (+40) - he is a better fantasy scorer, hopefully only by 5-10 each week on average though.
- Mann owned SWalker (+26) - should be 5-10 more on average
- Aitken owned Penis (+36) - dud game for Penis, won't normally be so bad. Again, maybe loses 10 pts average to Aitken.
- Jing owned Ilias (wanted to play Coates but who's to say he would have done any better?) (+34)

The rest of our top 17 is the same. Somehow DK has managed to get Mann, Aitken, iPap and Jing and I got SWalker, Penisini, AFB, and JTB (injured but would be my comparable player to Jing). Other than being unlucky with the JTB injury (who I think would be averaging mid 40s at this stage), I've simply been outplayed by DK. I took a punt on SWalker and AFB which haven't paid off, and Penisini naturally is scoring worse than an EDG backrower.

Lots to learn from that in terms of my picks next season, thanks for posting your team and score DK.

I'm torn on AFB. His price range can easily be a stepping stone to Cleary, Fifita or Haas for me but at the same time looking forward, is a 50 point player and a prime round 13 scorer.

If Cleary is named in the 13 this week it will be very hard to justify keeping Crichton and Mahoney.

It’s possible that those two can be turned into Cleary and Thompson

If Cleary is named to play I will have no problem selling D. Fifita & Mahoney.

Weather forecast still not great for brisbane today, but currently blue skies here. Hope it stays this way. Pumped for an afternoon at Suncorp

Wowsers, silly move to pivot from Starling to Sexton last minute.
It's not even the meagre missed points or price rises, its that I used enough of my Fifita>Cleary fund that I can't make it in a single trade and likely need to be chasing Starling now instead.

I probably could have prevented this if I had either drunk less Kraken so as to be inclined not to tinker with my team, or more Kraken so that I couldn't tinker even if I wanted to. Further studies are underway.
