Pookus McFly wrote:So why didn’t Sexton get his TO? Man that TO stat annoys me, so shades of grey as to when its allocated. Strange to have a massive 4 point stat at the mercy of the adjudicators when everything else is fairly black and white these days. Really can make or break a players score with a TO or two magically granted by the scorers or not.
Edit: Further waffling:
I mean, sometimes its dead obvious, and the Valemei hit last night deserves fantasy points to reflect the effort, but other times its just a loose carry with some lucky forwards who happen to be in the tackle winning the points lottery. They should at least decrease the points so the scores arn’t as effected by the luck element when they decide to randomly hand them out
Why do I feel like you have 15 mates, and next year you are going to have to get a 16th who supports the Dolphins.Rabbits21 wrote:I asked my Knights mate and he said it’ll be Brodie Jones playing big mins on that edge. 325k yes please.
Probably sage advice.Chewie wrote:
You will get dissappointed when you follow the point scoring closely, there are discrepancies in just about every game. You win some and you lose some.
I try not to pay too much attention to it because it frustrates me too much. I'd feel like ripping people's arms off

I did just cop a downpour just now, but yeah this morning barely had any. Must've just run north of me haha.MF wrote:
You’re kidding? I’m across from Helensvale Homeworld and it was solid for about 40 odd mins
Mr Snrub wrote:Perhaps I was wrong about Starling and he could be a great trade for Crichton next week.
However if I were to offer a contrarian opinion, it might be worth noting that he registered zero demerit points which is rare and his minutes might not produce good scores against oppositions that don't collapse.
He's still a good trade I guess but I might look at him as a high priced cash cow replacement for an underwhelming gun rather than a keeper.

Also, keeps me from squabbling about 4 points in public
Pookus McFly wrote:Wowsers, silly move to pivot from Starling to Sexton last minute.
It's not even the meagre missed points or price rises, its that I used enough of my Fifita>Cleary fund that I can't make it in a single trade and likely need to be chasing Starling now instead.
I probably could have prevented this if I had either drunk less Kraken so as to be inclined not to tinker with my team, or more Kraken so that I couldn't tinker even if I wanted to. Further studies are underway.
