I actually reckon Rabs would be the most fun to hang out with out of all you kents, I mean- arn't most of you accountants? Reckon Rabs and I would have a ball screaming at the bunnies together, standing and applauding. I just don't think he needs a Bunnies mate.

I do love the “wouldn’t have scored good if he didn’t score good” argument. Has a decent style game to be a relevant option. Won’t be everyone’s keeper, but not a bad option in a field where finding options is tough.

I think it is unproductive to think about what plays "deserve" fantasy points or not.
The points are what they are, and 2nd man in tackle on a player going nowhere os the same tackle as someone making a last ditch tackle on a player with daylight in front of them
Sideways slapsies are worth as much as someone actually busting a tackle.
2 offloads are worth as much as a try
Just accept things for what they are and stop trying to match up fantasy scores to actual real life performance

On another point, surely it takes the fun out of watching a game if you are trying to calculate fantasy stats at the same time.....it's a guaranteed way to raise your blood pressure

Oh it's definitely unproductive to think about, but I find that I have oodles of time on a slow Sunday morning to gripe about it in a public forum.
I think it is actually Fanhub themselves that are trying to match up the realism of an effort play being given appropriate fantasy points on this one, and the Valemei tackle was what they had in mind when they awarded it such a hefty point value. But there is a real problem with such a high value stat being given out to any tackler first in on a loose carry. Sure it's fine to accept things and move on, but we also need to correlate what needs changing in the game so that we can provide ample feedback for Fanhub to ignore.
