Not good news for Jack Hetherington. He has a bony bankart fracture of the glenoid. Basically his shoulder popped out and back in again. However, it caused significant damage on the way out. Will require surgery.

Tentatively going Fifita + Bullemor > Starling + Jones to free up 350k to get Cleary next week if he goes decent

Yeah this and a whole lot of luck goes a long way, players escaping injury or suspension plays a major role in this game.

Ok here's the thing. The "top" is not this homogenous group with the entire same squad.

Even if you had the 17 best and/or most popular players going, you would still likely gain ranks atm because very few have that exact 17. In truth, the top 100 mostly have about 10-12 common players that are common all the way down (including Ilias and Bully lol). The key has been some of those 10 outperforming other players in common decisions (e.g. Haas v Fifita, Hynes v Burton) - getting the 50/50 calls right.

I get what you're trying to do but I think in a game with finite trades that often run out early due to injuries, suspension, byes and just failing to get the right players that score points at the right time to make cash, moving sideways from a gun to a maybe slightly better gun is the most luxurious thing I've ever heard. You're trying to bathe in Dom while scrubbing yourself clean with caviar.

Patolo is 284k if that’s who replaced Jack yesterday and if that’s the way they go, stats aren’t fantastic, but we’re scraping the bottom of the barrel for basement price options and some guys take an opportunity with both hands

That's my current approach as well, my two pods are Munster and Clifford, though odds are I'll be selling Clifford next week to get Cleary.

Technically I have 4 pods but Billy Smith doesn't really count and Taylan May won't be a pod for long

Personally my plan is to get the players I think will score me the most points.

If I get that right, ownership is irrelevant.

Hunt and May are my only players with under 10% ownership at the moment. Would rather just pick the guys who I think are going to score the most fantasy points and not worry about who else owns them.

Going to drop tolo and tpj this week.

Can go to cleary and Jones or try to make my team more all rounded with Munster and pappy

I might wait a week on Cleary and sort some of these bludgers in NPR

My current strategy is to pick the players who score moderately less points than you expect...not enough to be a complete disaster but enough to annoy you.

Sort of like a full team homage to Andrew McCullough

I have added a twist which is rotating the bench to play the lowest scoring players in the 17....solid
