Crichton to Jones frees up a lot of cash. Still leaves me 63k short of trading Walters to Cleary.

Thinking of waiting on Cleary and getting a different gun instead as crazy as that is.

Going lolo to one of the above and bully to brojo

Next week Clifford straight to Cleary unless either have shock weeks…

It makes me laugh hearing Cotter is "locked in for a 60 minute middle role" when he's played one game and the team's star middle didn't get a second stint because the score had blown out.

Lolo to Cotter seems so sideways it's backwards. Also he's gone more than three games without getting injured once in three years.

Should I dump him or is it still too early?

I would have yeeted him after round 1, so probably too late if anything

You’ve got me keen on Cotter now. He’s only played big minutes under Payten from the bench - like a Conor Watson or Cheese role. Problem is he’s only played a handful because of injuries. Hard to gauge on the sample size,

Waddell in the starting team now. Patolo doesn’t look ready for a starting role so hopefully TPJ gets a solid run at 2nd row. If not he’s goooone

Also re Leo I’m not sure I’d get on him this week (after talking everyone into it last week I didn’t get on him myself which worked out ok from my other trades). Klemmer likely to only miss this week and next. I said he was above croker last week but not sure where he stands against sue. Either way klemm will eat his minutes

That being said no doubt another knight goes down injured and I never get on Leo, he scores a try to turn him into a 500k priced cow I missed. Still salty from missing uto last year..

You just made my pee-pee sad. What's the buzz on Brodie?

DFifi, Fermor, Nanai, Tago, Aitken, Jones, Tuilagi.

It's my own fault, started with 5. But two are in my CTR.

Brodie Jones is interesting but I think I'd prefer to chase Starling of the two, longer term prospect and R13 player. Can see why Bojo is a go for the cash flow though.

I went Bully to Starling last round - I actually risked no HK cover for R1-2!

Haha, yeah he will be my second hooker, went without HK cover for 1-3, and now no WFB cover for 1-4. Really need to address that in the coming weeks, wondering if I grab Tyrone May and risk it through to round 6 when he gets the DPP.

Didn't realise Katoa was under an injury cloud 🤔 that makes things interesting trade-wise

After much pondering I think I'm going

Bully -> BJones - Bully out of favour and needs to go
AFB -> Gilbert - AFB underperforming. I think Gilbert averages the same if not better which gives me the 150K/trade value plus cash in the bank for upgrades next week.

Leaves me with 340ish in the bank and lots of options for next week.

    Team would run out:

    Randall
    MKing, JKing, Gilbert
    Wilton, Fifita (C)
    Mann, Schneider
    Tago, Timoko
    Teddy, Hynes, Pap

    Grant, Crichton, BJones, Nanai
    Thompson, Billy, Ilias, Walters

Leaves me with no immediate expected fires to put out, decent cash generation and serviceable cover.
Next week either spend the warchest to bring in Cleary if he looks the goods (expected), grab Murray/Haas to fix up my mids or even just hold for a week to let the cows fatten.

I think Ilias has points in him, played with a lot more intent last week against a decent team, Billy has some upside and likely plays 13, outside chance Walters might get another run at the starting 6 if the Broncos get smacked again in which case he's value and Thompson should make some money until Klemmer is back, possibly even after.

I was scanning my brain for the reference and it led me to led me to Mark McGaw, who I had not thought of in two decades. Sharkies old boy who moved to the Bunnies right as he hit the bigtime as Hammer on Gladiators. You have no idea what it meant to a little Bunnies fan to have a Rabbitoh as a Gladiator in the 90s. Huge deal.
