Of course you could just captain Haas for the first week. Doesn't help with the Fifita locking out though. It does look like a team you should sit on. And there'll be other ways to get Cleary if plan A fails. Guaranteed to be an injury or other curve ball.

Yep, would be an injury that does it, or building for a few weeks and waiting til King and Randall mature. But that means missing out on a lot of Cleary.

Just going to be Bully to Jones for me this week.

Keep it nice and simple and see what happens with Fifita, Clifford, Walters and Cleary this weekend. Make big decisions next week.

Yep, we're in a similar situation it seems.

Reynolds, Kelly and Turpin have all had injuries of note in recent year/s. Not wishing it on anyone, of course, but it's not the least likely thing to happen on earth.

That said, it would need to happen this week before Walters starts losing cash.

Jones probably unlikely to fire straight out the gates so all in all - on both sides - it's probably the kind of trade that could wait a week and be as valid, if not more valid, next week... if it's still appealing.

Mahoney to Starling/BJones for me. Allows me to wait and see who the final piece to the Cleary puzzle will be with some cash in the bank.
Is Starling the better option over BJones

Probably. Starling should have longevity and plays first bye. Jones probably has a shelf life. Both should make cash. Unless you need an edge for team balance.

It gets boring if the same person keeps beating it to death. I've probably had my fill for now, better to leave some meat on the bone for others.

Hess got injured and Lolo didn't have a 2nd stint and they have a hooker on the bench. Wouldn't assume he has 60 minutes off the bench each week.

They still have an HOK on the bench who takes up only 20 minutes or so of playing time. Neame and Luki are the ones who benefited from Hess' injury and Taumalolo's second stint, rather than Cotter.

I predict he will take 25 minutes of T,lolololo at LOCK or possibly the rest of the game with T'lolololo taking a stint as a regular MID for his second. Either way, I think the plan is for him to come midway through the second half and play out the rest of the game. He is one of their most impactful players, the fans love him and he will not be wasted Could be a bit of a risk but I reckon it will pay off in droves

What if Kurt Mann was the major beneficiary? He could smash it for the next six weeks. Might have to consider other Cleary methods.

He's probably going to keep playing 60-65

When Sualli debuted last year I don't know if it was nerves or if he is just that type of player like a Coates but he looked hesitant & did not get involved much in doing the hard yards out of his own half. Billy Smith may not have the pace of Suaalii but he does roll his sleeves up & gets involved as much as possible & puts his body on the line doing the tough hit ups.

Yeah Suaalii hasnt impressed me much from what I have seen from him on the big stage, I know he is only young and time will tell - just wanting to know if Smith is worth centre coverage long term really ??? or is May a better option.

I think he will be on borrowed time for sure. The fact they have moved him from CTR to wing concerns. However I am not rushing him out, because there were decent noises coming out prior to the season about his abilities. I would not trade him to May myself.
