    Crichton Papy Coates

    Starling
    Aitken

Why not put Aitken at centre, Hynes at fullback and Mann at half? Then surely Thompson and Max King are better than Coates and Penisini.
You can have a look at Thompson with Vailea and Coates/Max King with Russell.

Sideways trading keepers is a recipe for running out of trades without cash gen.Shifting topped cows to emerging cows is good practice. TU and chill

thanks, on reflection yeah it probably was the easy call.

I really want to win my league game this week but as you said its probably going to end up costing me in the long run. My team is good enough to make finals so should focus on the long term.

now really i just need to work out who to move on with Walters, Coates, Rusell, Penisi but probably will end up much of a muchness
thanks again for keeping me on track.

Did PYTM say anything about Fitzgibbon? Someone on FB saying back in 2-3 weeks and I don't think that's correct

On the Knights website it has him as indefinite

Also has Klemmer as Round 5

Don’t really want to force a trade like Mahoney to a mid MID now to create a bank. A more obvious path to Cleary might open up by next week, otherwise if I need a bank building trade will try and do it at the same time as Cleary in.

Yep, have decided to just do this as well (for now). Mahoney can stay a week longer.

Edit: just seen PYTM post about klem. Walters can go for Leo.

As one without Mann I am considering downgrading Lolo to him (or maybe Gilbert)

Issue is that it doesn't actually free up that much cash, so may just be better off with Lolo and the trade.

Yeah Lolo to the likes of a Gilbert of Mann is what I am also toying with but you're right the cash saved is not that much, doesn't stand out as a overly valuable use of a trade.

However if Lolo doesn't pull finger soon it will probably be a trade I'll regret not making.

What does 5 rounds of 35s make him?

    Appreciate the update

After much deliberation I've decided to play patience with Cleary rather than tear the team apart.

    Going Bully -> BroJo
    Lolo - > Gilbert

    450k in the bank.

Gilbert provides DPP and looks to have a 70m role locked in. Rated by the coach and hopefully a keeper that eventually moves to the bench. Also saves having to have Leo, MKing and Mann as the starting mids which feels extremely fragile.

Clifford next week will hopefully go straight to Cleary, otherwise Clark is also on the block to hopefully another cash cow.

Feel much better this way than selling Dfifi, who is a player that we will all want in the team at some point... the idea of him returning to his normal self and selling him would crush me.

Team still needs a bit of work to start climbing. Just putting my thoughts down

This week - Crichton/Bully to Thompson/Jones leaves me with 480k to do something with next week.

    Mahoney
    Mann, MKing, Thompson
    Wilton, Fermor
    Sexton, Schneider
    Burton, Smith
    Hynes, Papy, Critter

    Starling, Randall, Nanai, Jones
    Clark, Leniu, Amone, Ilias

Mahoney and Clark possibly on the chopping block next week for Cleary and cow

    Thoughts?

Think I'm gonna take a gamble on Cotter. Probably the highest upside of the options I'm considering

Might be like round 1 when Dunn was a late starter - thinking Cotter starts this week with Hess obviously named but not playing. Taumalolo gets to wear his beloved #13 jersey as usual, but is really playing 'prop'

I like Cotter the best out of the remaining mid-range MID options. A girl I used to be mates with in college is his gf. Looked like an absolute beast last week and in all stars.

I’ve been looking at my team and there is no way I can play Mann, MKing and Thompson so back to looking at MIDS this afternoon

Seem like pretty obvious trades on paper, not sure why I'm second-guessing.

It's a yes from me if you believe in those trades & have the gut feel then go for it.

Cotter and Gilbert really is a coin flip huh. Both DPP, same price.

Does injury history come into it and job security?

Note that he had 5 more TBs than he has had in any other game last week = 10 bonus points. Averages < 1 per game.
