Sorry, probably worded it poorly- said that he would go into the 500k range the following week from a 30. Assuming even if they are back in the run-on side the poor scores in a 5-game average keeps dragging them down.

Sorry my bad, should have looked at the next square and figured that out. I think grabbing two cows and waiting a couple of weeks for a McInnes has merit

51 average playing 50+ minutes. Powder puff Warriors pack until Tohu returns

There are some BIG minute games in there mind but nothing to skew the average too much

We’ve spent days doing Gilbert v Cotter. Lodge seems a safer option at a similar price than either

Where are you getting that? I have him averaging 46.3 last season.
Are you calculating points with the rule changes?

Jeezus-H-Christ you lot can turn the forum pages rabbiting on about which middle to bring in.
    Gilbert
    Cotter
    Mann
    BroJones
    Leo
Obviously you all have Haas sitting pretty in your Middles already.
For the Bludgers, trading Lolo & Watto > Haas & BroJones was the easiest trade this week.
    Haven't second-guessed it once.
Good luck to you all. You've got better Fantasy pedigree than my plodders.

My 2c worth - I don't think you can bet the farm on Gilbert, Cotter or Mann to maintain the minutes, role and OL that they exhibited in Rd.3
    But, that's just me.

I was settled on Bird out before TLT with a view to potential Cleary funds. 39 with 12-15pt try doesn't cut it. Not sure if try had TB or not. Was set on Bird>May but Jones popping up thought Ilias to Jones for 36k from Cleary fund not bad. If I look at trades like

    Bird to Jones
    Ilias to May

They look pretty good and look like both make money and leaves me picking 1 from Tuilagi May Thompsen Ming for last spot in 17. That's a good problem

Noone is getting Lodge this week, its simply a watch and see for a couple weeks on a short list
If I can get him sub 500k and potentially ride up to 600k + a first bye then job done
Its coming into autumn so a cheap lodge feels comfy with a glass half full of mcinnes

I think if you want to play the historical history on Lodge you need to use both dropdown menus. He has a string of 60+ minute games from 2019 that bring his average up. Putting him on games between 50 and 60 minutes sees a 47 average. Which is good value, but not quite enough unless he drops another ~50k

Definitely on my radar for cheap pick up for first bye. Weeks away though. Much more cash to lose

Will Lodge keep dropping cash though? He played 54 mins last week. If he starts getting those minutes and scoring what people are expecting him to then he has bottomed out with a BE of 55. And if he does keep playing those minutes and scoring 30s to drop significant cash then will anybody want him anyway?

Okay, Ima shut up about Lodge now, I swear Razz

I did mins over 30. There’s a game where he did his hammy i think skewing it pretty badly to 46.3, is 48.1 without.

Then again there’s some big minutes games on the opposite end too.

I’m just putting a name out there. I mean he’s no Gilbert or Cotter with their, um, 40-something averages and limited histories but thought it was worth a shout.

I'm looking at trading either Penisini or Amone for Leo Thompson. Amone certainly isn't doing well, but he's a starting half. Penisini's 9 really sux and I expect it won't be his last. Just looking for any opinions about this trade thanks.

Haha all good man, and fair to cut out the hammy game in my books. I wasn't attacking you at all, just saw him crop up on several posts in a flurry and he had never entered my scope so I was more just curious as to what people were seeing. Apologies if it came across as aggressive.

Oh sheeeesh yeah, I was thinking of captaining Sexton too. I will likely trade him out if he hits sub 50 again, despite only trading him in last week. But I feel he knows he is on thin ice and he will relish the pressure game for my Fantasy team.
