Eiaenhuth. Jordan Grant. Bit surprised that Chris Lewis isn't ahead of him too.

Thanks Rhino, I noticed Chris Lewis too - but looks like MacDonald has passed on him on the depth chart (or is Lewis more of an edge forward?). Full disclosure - this is a cashout for my VSDT team. Not sure he warrants a look in Fantasy.

Is spending too much time defending out wide as the C defender rather than at marker or A. Same minutes, different role, easy sell for mine (possibly Eels making sure he lasts the season for a shot at the premiership?)

Yeah don't like that trade at all.

Rhino has said multiple times, just keep him on the pine and wait for the 2/3 tries and sell after JAC esque pruple patch

I'm treating Coates the same way I treated Reimis last year but with an even lower base

Loop him where you can, if you can't have him deep out of the 17. Wait for the run of tries then sell him at 500k

Decided on Leniu + Bully out for BroJo + Mann

TPJ gets one more week and if he fails again will be my tool to Cleary next week

Ive been between Mahoney and Bully as my second trade this week and settled on Bully due to the fact I’d rather have Mahoneys score than Bully’s this week.

They’ll both lose around 30k. Just trust Mahoney to do more

I had Brodie Jones on my watchlist in pre-season, but took him off when he wasn't listed anywhere as injured and didn't make the teamlist at trials.
    I guess he was injured...

With Flegler back, is there anyone out who might push Kobe off the bench? What happened to Rhys Kennedy who played round 1?

I'm pretty confident Kobe will always be in the 17. He is highly regarded at the Broncos.

Kennedy is a back up, nothing more.

I am looking forward to Willison coming back from injury (ACL) but I think he's still a while off and every chance he just plays some cup for a while. He wouldn't affect kobe/etc but probably slides in above Kennedy and maybe even James later in the year.

Who would you rather trade out? Ilias have more cash ITB and sort out Vailea later? Or Vailea, run without a loop, spend more cash but give Ilias another week to do something?

Id say Koula not too far away from getting a run based on Harpers recent form. He'd be a good Vailea trade

Could also take Saab's spot. Has been very poor this season.

Would you trade Ilias out just to be rid of him or just stick him in the EMG's and wait it out?

There is the thought that he'll get better as he gets more experience under his belt but there's also the chance he's just another Kane Elgey and is just a plain shit scorer.

So cheap and he’s playing the halves. I’m holding until a 220/240k player pops up

I think cash gen is what is most important and trading him out to a cash cow to trade back down to him if he comes good is still a fine trade if he’s going to take his time. It sounds bad on paper but it’s just like any other string of trades.

I don’t see the harm in holding and waiting it out. As long as he’s not in ya 17 ya can leave him there

Fair bit of smoke on Silvertails and the like of Koula late switch for Harper. I have Koula at 17 for loop so have strategy to remedy with later player if need be

Yeah, he has. But not sure why people down on a NPR winger who got 31 last outing and has a BE of around 19. He will score *a lot* of tries. Storm put Meaney over for a couple of easy ones in his position vs the Eels, and Coates is quite a lot better than Meaney in that he can score difficult ones too.

Say Coates spikes a high 40s score against the Dogs (yes, yes, he needs a hat-trick) then he makes 30k and his BE goes down to around zero. And people who went from Coates to May will wonder why they run out of trades. (Not that May is a bad option in other circumstances, but this is fantasy dictionary definition sideways.)
