Haas is on a good behaviour bond for intimidating a female police officer, he can't get off scott free.

Police prosecutors dropped one charge of intimidating police and the 21-year-old agreed to plead guilty to the other charges in Tweed Heads Local Court on Thursday.

Magistrate Geoff Dunlevy placed a conditional release order on Haas, a form of good behaviour bond, warning that if he reoffended he would be resentenced.

He didn't record a conviction, saying Haas was entitled to the "maximum discount" after pleading guilty at the earliest opportunity.

"I am satisfied the balance should fall in your favour," Mr Dunlevy said.

He said magistrates were expected to take a protective stance towards police and deter potential offenders when sentencing for serious crimes.

As I stated earlier the police won't be involved here so this is irrelevant.

Doesn't apply when you are high profile. Look at Will Smith, slapped a guy for saying a totally out of line joke about his sick wife and look at the crap he is receiving. Expectations of what is acceptable in society has changed significantly the last couple of decades. It seems most of the forumites here have missed the memo.

Still wouldn't. Cleary 106 BE loses about 50k with a 65 and imagine if he gets HIAed out after 5 mins. You can bet on high enough score if you want.

Saw couple years old YT vid yesterday of Rock roasting people on chat shows, galas, etc etc. Obv Smith had old beef with him

"I heard Jada is going to boycott the Oscars. That's like me boycotting Rihanna's panties. I was never invited."

Seriously though f**k Will Smith. He's an up his own arse Scientology kook.

Yes but the cops didn't get involved with Will Smith because Chris Rock wasn't going to co-operate much like Albert Kelly isn't going to be pressing charges against Haas so again - it's irrelevant.

Don't want to miss a banner (×2 for captain) waiting for a price drop. I would absolutely get Cleary if Haas out. Wouldn't even affect my team balance, Cleary into half, Mann from half to mid.

Assuming no ban though, I'll be waiting as I have no *clear* trade outs.

Reminder that the NRL banned Dylan Walker for one game for his drunken assault on a pizza shop worker.

    One game.

It was a joke - point to where you were offended.

I was expecting a higher BE to give me more incentive to trade-out but I had backed him for 50 points on the edge (edge/middle hybrid role) before the season started so its not a bridge too far. But admittedly the low scores have me spooked. It was a big red flag when Payten benched him, likely he was just pissy from the sinbinning, but I don't like it when Coaches show a tendency to fuck with my players minutes and for lack of a better tradeout, I think he becomes Cleary this week. If he is named to start and you don't have any other fires to put out, i'd give him another run- still only priced at 35, could potentially be enormous value if he can raise his floor more.

I was going to say the same. It's like someone having psoriosis, not cancer. Bet my ex's Dad with alopecia laughed his arse off at the joke.
