Really tempted by May and Tago this week to stop the slide

Could be gold at 55 minutes. Banks nearly 100K from Big Ricks unfortunate sale

I got him last week to free up cash from Mahoney for hopefully similar/slightly better scores (assuming, now hoping, Mahoney doesn't return to gun scores). Its a big gamble tbh.. Cowboys pack is still pretty hard to get a read on and tbh I think mins will change weekly dependent on match situation
I do like to watch Cotter play though, so that is a bonus.

Just slightly worried that the 3 binnings might have skewed minutes.Welshy wrote:

I mean one was Chad so that wouldn’t have changed much, but Neame and Gilbert spending some time on the pine could have given him some more minutes.
Not to sure there

I am going to cherry pick some statisticians, and go with Milchow because his breakeven of 92 is the lowest. Now that we have all accepted this as the one true breakeven, can we also discuss the mutually true fact that Cleary is going to score 80 against the dogs. I am going to feel really silly missing out on his 160 as captain trying to save $20k odd when he puts a halt to his price slide. The most worrying part of this narrative, is that it is all completely TrueFact(TM).

Lot of cash banked from Mahoney so you should about win that trade down if you invest wisely.
Carrigan - Cotter
Maybe Paulo - Koulas leaves me more than enough to go Clifford straight to Cleary following week. Although I’m tempted to get DCE in for Clifford this week

One of my more favored trades for the week is
Sexton>Cotter, Fifita>Cleary
But ideally would like a second look. He is built for fantasy, tackles like madmad, only limited by the minutes. He came back on for his second stint with 4 minutes to go, I am thinking that in a closer game he comes back earlier.

Yeah he’s a Tasmanian devil out there, just unsure on minutes long term. Seems safe enough though

Whereas look at the Penrith run the next month. I have a feeling May keeps his spot when To’o is back and May plays round 13. His price could go up to 550k maybe even a bit more.
Thoughts? @rhinoceroo etc...
Like this trade.
I got May last week and im likely punting King this week. King might eek out another 30k, but catching May on the upswing makes the timing perfect.

Talakai has a BE of -10 and the last couple of weeks has played like Fifita did last season. This week he is up against Roberts in a tigers team that is really bad and should get thrashed. He is the 3rd most traded in player this week and not nearly as reliant on multiple tries to score well, when compared with May at the same price point, (most traded in this week).
If you are going to win the comp from where my team is currently ranked, of course you need to take some risks along the way. If my PODs all fire in the same week, I suddenly shoot up the rankings, in a way that you couldn't do with a non-POD team.
But the competition isn't won in one week.
Sure your PODs could all miraculously perform at the same time in one week and you make up some rankings, but then what happens the next when they fail again? Yep, you slide right back to where you were.
I'm all for having one or two well reasoned PODs along with a majority high owned team, that's a solid strategy, but not picking 15 guys under 10% ownership along with 2 high owned ones.

Is Talakai even garunteed a starting role again? Shouldn't we wait for team lists first?

Still unsure about whether to trade this week or not - only Clifford (who I do love) on the chopping block.
Lolo earns another week based on his increased output.
What are the thoughts on Cotter vs. May.
I know it's a blatant cash grab, but money equals more guns and it's only Rd.5
Talaki is looking juicy, but, like most on here he seems to be place-holding until the Sharks regular centre is back. Also, the Sharks Edge stocks are stacked so he looks more like the bench impact Edge than big minute man.
Any feedback (or better yet crystal ball info) would be appreciated.
Cheers lads and ladettes.

I was looking at King too. 41 with the try. Hmm.....spot seems secure though.
I'm actually thinking going early on him or Nanai down to Koula to get the finds for AFB to Haas.

Hmm I think J King has just about peaked, I have no HOK backup and really liked Cotter vs Broncos and he plays 1st bye. This interests me

With Billy gone with an injury and then unlikely to get a spot back I’ll probably end up grabbing Koula and May this week. Gives me at least some CTR/WFB cover for a little while and hopefully can make some money off of May

I am frustratingly about 30k short of doing -
JoKing to Cleary
E Katoa to Koula
Agree Josh King is probably near his peak and E Katoa has got to go.
I don't really hold anyone with a higher price that I want to let go of.. probably Sexton would be the leading candidate but that seems premature.

I think May is still a buy, but at his current price you probably need to decide if he is for a quick cash injection or a R13 player with coverage because he will likely peak in price too early for the latter.
Tago is trickier now that he is priced at 40, you would have to be buying him as a keeper centre. If you already have coverage here, I would probably leave him and just have my heart break with every Panthers game he scores a try in.
