Oddly, one of my regrets this year is that I probably prioritised cover over points/cash a little too much. For example, I started with Clark as HOK cover, and that money would've obviously been spent better somewhere else in retrospect, e.g. I missed Tago and JKing. Some of the top performing teams right now haven't really put much of an emphasis on covering positions and have still been fine, still been able to put up big points and generate a solid amount of cash. I'm still ensuring that I've got every position covered, but it hasn't quite given me the edge I thought it would. There hasn't really been as many injuries or COVID cases to Fantasy relevant players as I expected there might be just yet. I guess my learn is that cover is probably more important with your final squad than your starting squad, as abundant early season trades can easily fix up the little problems that pop up here and there.

It's early days/rounds, cover is vital. Those teams that snagged early performing cows, will start dropping off as they have to trade to cover gaps.

Think they just stick with the usual template. Jensen and James play decent mins for palasia and kobe. Robati gets a little bit of time. Maybe switch robati and jensen around tho. Haas plays 65-70. Almost certainly plays the first 40 straight up

Hopefully Paix gets on after 30. Under no illusions here, he aint the saviour, but turpin with ball has been awful. Turpin is prob the best middle defender tho...

How's Haas going to play 65-70 when he's in jail with no bail Razz

Re: Hetho. Other than loving the MID/HOK dual is that 2 weeks ago ARey have him big wraps in a post-game interview. If ARey likes him he must be decent, or at the very least, have his spot locked up.

Worst case he averages 35 as my HOK cover and was a facilitator to get Cleary. Could do much worse.

Only real pathways to Cleary right now

Fifita and Jing to Chin and some 290k dribbler (got Koula already)

Fifita and Aitken to Chin and May

    Something with DCE.

Think I just need to wait.

    Easy trades this week.

Dfifi -> Haas. Fomo and his ownership means he is more important than Cleary right now. Haas much lower BE also.. watching him flop as the 3rd man in tackles over, and over is damaging to my mental health as a non owner.

Clark -> Koula. Best cash cow available.

    550k ITB.

Clifford direct to Cleary next week.
Fantasy is easy and plans always go as expected, right?

    TU - Ilias to May
TD - Bank a trade and the 100k for Cleary fund

Ilias gave me a glimmer of hope that he can make 120k. Could save a trade or cost me 150k+.

What I don't really get is that starting LOCK Carrigan was off after 29 minutes, not to return.
They essentially lost another bench player when Walters played out the game at 5/8 (presumably - I didn't actually catch the game)

This resulted in Haas getting increased minutes, looks like Flegler probably got a minutes boost on what he may have otherwise got, James pretty much normal minutes.

But Hetherington only managed 24 minutes - that seems nuts to me?
So did Kevvy just screw up the bench rotations, or he's not that keen on Kobe? or there was some other reason?
Maybe Kevvy had planned for James to be the first change, and was unable to react to the changing circumstances?

TLDR: I'd rather Kevvy had big wraps than ARey

Nailed it. Of course the teams at the top now are the ones with the best cows regardless of position. That’ll change in a hurry when they start having to trade to cover one week injuries/suspensions

I haven't got the cash to get Cleary yet but thinking of going Clifford to Moses. Clifford has done ok but feel like he has peaked.
Moses has only got one big score but watching him it always feels like he is going to go large.
Ive got Wighton too so he can become Cleary eventually

More footage of Haas scrapping with a teammate. He was mucking around doing a re-enactment of the Kelly incident, but the courts won't look favourably on the lack of remorse.

The only place he will be breaking tackles for the next 7 years (4 with good behaviour) is the Cell Block D Scrag game in the courtyard.
