If MN is 14000 then $190k

Did you see the try disallowed because of illegal block Souths player and didn't affect try but still not awarded? He scores 45 at least with that allowed. Rabbits sick run mad to flick him now

I wonder if everyone would still be mad at Fifita if he'd scored a "lazy" try or 2. Would they be concerned that his base stats weren't sufficient to justify his price tag?

    He's always been lazy.

I'm still wrestling with the idea of punting Sexton for Cleary or just waiting a week and doing JKing to Cleary.

Need to cool it on trades.

Katoa and Amone for me are two no brainer outs

If I had not have traded him out last week, I would not have enjoyed death riding him so much last week. I will think long and hard about this decision at least a few times this year. But I think overall it was wise.

Is it best to wait and see how Koula goes? How much of a factor will the weather play? Apologies if these questions have already been asked.

I’m selling DaFita because he is lazy and his name isn’t Haas, Murray, or Cleary.

I dunno about a 35 average for Ilias, I hope he can, but he's gonna have to score over 35 a few times first. A 30 average sees him make another 120k.

Using a trade to get someone that costs more and will make similar cash sounds like burning a trade and wasting money though. If it's someone you plan on playing every week with the confidence of not looping, then it could be worth it.

With all the Fifita is lazy comments I thought it might be fun to take a quick look and compare his stats to other 80min second rowers. Perhaps the most unexpected finding was that his tackles per minute is up 10% compared to 2021.

    In terms of running metres:
    > in 2022, he is behind iPap and Friz.  But ahead of Lucy, Fermor, Aitken, CHN, Nikora, Lane, Tupouniua.
    > So nothing really wrong with his run metres to say he is lazy.
    > His metres per minutes is down on last year by around 15%, but the whole comp is down this year.

    Tackles per match in 2022:
    > Fifita is lower than every single one of the players I looked at.  He's at 26 tackles per match, just under Lucy & Tupouniua at 27.  Quite a few around the 30 mark - so 'only' 4 tackles per match behind typical second rower.  [Nikora the stand out with 39].
    > His tackles per minute is up about 10% on 2021

I don't have stats for "work off the ball", which I think some of the comments have been aimed at.

In regards to Ilias - if the rabbits keep losing games, who is going to be the scapegoat?
In the spine, it's certainly not going to be Latrell, Cody or Murray.

Is his job really that secure?

Rabbitohs have won one from four and looking likely to miss the eight - how many more losses before the coach is forced to change things up?

Keep in mind Souths draw has been very hard. If we win this week it could start a bit of a run.

Ilias has played well too. The 3 games we lost we completed at 63percent not Ilias fault.

I don't have stats for "work off the ball", which I think some of the comments have been aimed at.

fifita will make his tackles - but teams have also worked out that they send plenty of traffic his way and he tires easily.

his actual base stats are fine, as you said, but he doesn't work hard off the ball, nor does he make effort on effort. eg if he slips off a tackle he will get up and jog back for the next set rather than try to help his teammates out ont he live play. same again, if someone makes a break he doesn't follow the ball. plenty of other second rowers are similar, though, but we are pretty focussed on fifita, for fantasy reasons. and because he's on 1.25 mil a season.

I won't be surprised to see Latrell at 6 with Taafe at fullback before the end of the season

in saying this if Lenui Cleary wasn't on the menu, I'd probably be grabbing Fifita this or next week.

Definitely wouldn't trade out Mann. Note that he is #9 on the Who's Hot list with over 1% of teams trading him in this week.
Agree on not trading out Mann, I'm getting the main Mann in for Clifford.

I thought he was over valued to start the year but now probably appropriate value. Few more games without a try and he will be a great option
