Taupau is a cat. Staying down and then getting involved in the next set. Get him off for a mandatory HIA for that crap.
Watching the game proceed, Taupau clearly was milking (first tackle bullshit), should have been cited for bringing the game into disrepute.
I'm sick of that garbage. Just reminds me why Knights hate Manly.

Was Ponga not offside there on the saifiti knock on?

Ponga in his current form brings to mind that scene in Space Jam where the basketball stars realise all their talent has been stolen by the Monstars.

Taupau has never been the type to stay down. Could have been a badly pinched nerve in the neck/shoulder or something like that? cause that stinging pain down the arm that dissipates relatively quickly.
Don't think it deserved a penalty though. :/

See it quite often and wonder why it's not penalised as it stops a 7 tackle set effectively.
Hardly ever see it called though

Confirmation of a minor calf issue for Tolu Koula which kept him out of tonight’s game. Likely due to some lingering soreness/tightness related to severe calf cramp he suffered in Rd4. Most return in 2-3 weeks.

Disgusting play.
If he wasn't milking then the Bunker doc should have already pulled him off for the 15 min HIA check.

Ref said something about it touching a Manly player, so puts him back onside. If it didn't touch the Manly player, they're pretty consistent at calling those imo.

See, Frizell cops a hit to the head and gets straight back up. Tough as nails.

Not if it was his shoulder/neck. The drs know what they're doing and what they're looking for to pull someone for a HIA and they've shown they're not afraid to do it.

One of my favourite things in the entire world is when a player staying down milking a penalty then gets pulled by the independent doctor.

Don't think he got hit in the head mate. Looked like he stayed down because he got a small leg/lower back injury due to being bent back. The Bludger#2 wrote:See, Frizell cops a hit to the head and gets straight back up. Tough as nails.
Tough as nails for sure, but doesn't matter how tough you are if you're hit in the head.

You mean those same docs that pulled Mann off for an HIA test against the Panthers after he'd been kicked in the balls!!filthridden wrote:

Quality Bunker work. Taupau stayed down. He was staggering like he'd been semi-knocked out.
Milking for a high shot, which it wasn't. Bullshit.
Should have been a penalty against Manly for the acting.
I don't care if he's suggesting it was his neck, his next plays (tackles, runs etc.) show no signs of any injury.

I can't watch the game because my wife and in-laws are here, but did you know that dicklung is an anagram of duckling? 9 out of 10 cats instead of League is rough

To me it looked like the staggering was due to the pain rather than being disorientated.
Like I said, could've been a bad stinger/pinched nerve - it happens.
I'm not saying that's 100% what it was because it was hard to judge. Bit of a weird one.
