Anyone else own Clune? Was chugging along well until that injury last night which probably stalls cash gen.

Would like to turn him into a MID to get Thompson out of the 17 ASAP but not much on offer in that price range

Also saw NRLPhysio calling the Koula injury a 2-3 weeker?

Would that be 1-2 since it happened last week?

Next you'll tell me that Katoa is going to be a late switch to start on edge tonight for 65 points in 80 mins.

We could try and will it into existence?
What are your thoughts on Kobe mate as a fantasy prospect, I’m stuck between taking Leo’s 26, looping in Leniu or just getting Kobe and hope he can bang out 40+

I already punted him for Koula lol. Couldnt risk another 15 or so from Katoa. Not actually sure why he's now on the bench, I didn't think he'd looked too bad on the field.

Kobe would be helped in the short term if Haas sits out two weeks.

Low 40's is probably not too unreasonable, but my gut feel is more in the high 30s. Maybe he surprises us though. He's a good footballer, that is definitely in his favour.

    Oh shit haha sorry mate.

It’s just based purely on his minutes yeah. If his minutes are good then he should score well by the looks. He definitely passes the ‘no shit footballers in my team’ rule.

Just not sure if he’s worth the trade just to avoid a 26.

Its definitely not. Wasting a trade just to avoid a one off 26 is insane. What if Kobe scores 30 and then you have two spuds?

Even with Haas gone he will probably play 50 mins, historically playing over 40 mins at lock he's pretty much required a try to get over 40. Just don't see the upside. I looked at him to play over Thompson while Haas is suspended and I'd rather take the 20-30 point hit than waste 2 trades.

Kobe definitely a leave until next week trade…need to check minutes/role before diving in, as he’s a bit too expensive to be another ‘loop option’ putting by up 30’s for you

    Play in the 17:
    a) Jones’ 39 & Nanai?
    b) Jones’ 39 & May?
    c) May & Nanai?

    https://www.smh.com.au/sport/nrl/come-at-me-gould-unleashes-on-critics-over-flanagan-selection-20220407-p5abop.html

article is a bit weird.. but some fantasy relevance.. maybe..

“When he returns to the first grade side this week, it’s not about Kyle Flanagan fitting in with Matt Burton and the rest of the team; it’s about the rest of the team fitting in with Kyle Flanagan, let me tell you.

“Kyle Flanagan will play his game and we’ll adapt to that. That’s what you do when you have a chief playmaker, Kyle Flanagan will be the chief playmaker in the side.

Surely Burton still kicks plenty. His towering distance kicks have had opposition in trouble.

Suli is rolling along averaging 38, whilst not having any breakout games yet, *for the Dragons.

I can actually see them working quite well together, but it certainly won't be good for Burton's base fantasy wise

He'd be the game's best fantasy scorer if you got points for vertical kick metres,
