Will back him into bigger minutes with that bench makeup unless they are smashing each week

You'll be pleased to know that Cleary specifically talked about Yeo's minutes in the post match presser.

He said that Yeo was crook that day. He was intending to bring him back on, but there was a bit of space in the score-line so decided to let him rest.
He also said that Yeo was playing the full 80 for the first few rounds as extra input because Nathan was out.

It sounds like he will rest him when he can (because of Origin etc), but reading between the lines you'd still think that normally he'll get a rest at 60 minutes and be brought back if needed i.e. 70 minutes. Big games he may just play through like MS suggested.

He is starting CTR on form. Been a top 3 CTR in the comp the last 2 weeks.

Do you think they would have put him there over Tracey if he was fit?? Or does it just suit your team to speak for the coach?

Can get him in this week with the following moves

    Clifford - Cleary
Pensini - Taafe (Critta into CTR, Taafe into WFB)

But was looking towards some potentially better value and was looking at Benny Hunt and Grant in. Hunt more of a gut feel for purple patch run and Grant underpriced but don't like Wishart on the pine

Cleary priced at 70.5 currently, which is about the average of people's responses for the Guess the Score for his first game back - factoring in that he might be cautious at first. He would've came into the community team by a landslide if not for Koula being scratched, but even then the majority were still for Cleary.

If he averages 70, he only drops ~42k over the next 3 weeks. 60 drops ~93k over 3 weeks.

Not sure I'd want to keep hiding behind the couch every week hoping for 60s so his price can keep dropping 30k at a time.

Re. Clifford, scores are literally going backwards every week, but I'd be tempted to hold him through to Rd 12 and flick for bye player. I think he can at least hold his price and average low-mid 40s. If he's the obvious and clear avenue to Cleary though, can't fault it.

I mentioned last week that his biggest scores last year came against weaker opposition - Broncos (61, 65), Warriors (60, 61) and Bulldogs (75). Might be playing the draw too much and have false hope, but a pretty good run from Rd 9-12 with Cows, Dogs, Broncos and Warriors.

Sounds like he's a dead-cert for Origin then - look no further Freddie

He got the spot because Tracey got injured.

Youd think he keeps it at this stage, who knows

I wouldn't have traded him in if I didn't think there was a good chance to put Tracey back to bench utility, which would make Talakai a cheap CTR keeper for the season.

Sharks injury updates, good for Wilton and Talakai.

Wade Graham (ankle, round 7-8 )
    Connor Tracey (groin, indefinite)
    Matt Ikuvalu (ankle, indefinite)

There's an argument he could get DPP but I don't think part of that argument is that he played really well against the Tigers.

Dunno about that mate. He's hard to handle for sure, but he was behind the play numerous times when Moylan/Hynes attacked the left edge. Looking forward to him going back to the bench impact role. If he gets CTR dpp, he should provide good scores still, but if he doesn't he won't be a keeper. Could make the cash you're looking for though, good first week.

Simpkin may also be a goer at the more attractive 416k. Could average 40+ and make a sneaky 150k

Can see Liddle coming back in sooner rather than later. Simpkin was absolutely clueless in the Warriors game when he had the opportunity to make his mark.

TPJ looks to be doing really well with a controlled aggression approach. Played 80 minutes on the EDG this week, which is his ideal role.

Looking at bringing in TPJ and Starling this week. Both should be significantly undervalued, very playable and both play round 13.

Going to be fun following TPJ offloads in many matches.
