Two weeks to late mate, just hang around the forum and pick one of the 3 guys who get talked about the most, on a daily/hourly basis. Can't go wrong

Take out injury affected games then look at long term averages. One is an elite fullback with career average above 50 while the other is a winger with a career average of 37 that is in a purple patch (4 tries in 4 games this season)

Sorry guys was a terrible attempt at humour.

I'm not forecasting career average for Mulitalo, it was a cash gen punt that's half way going where hoped, with the added possibility of some purple patch scores. I prefer a risk, something interesting. Calculated historic picks would mean we all literally have the same team year in year out.

I did mention midweek I'd be bringing Cleary and Mulitalo in the main thread, but I didn't make a case or push them, who'd listen anyway haha

Shit lads that’s epic. I’m sitting 70k and pretty happy atm. Loaded up on Leicester boys though, nah regret it.

70k also solid - in the top 1% of entries!
I honestly think - as someone who finished 74k 2 seasons ago, then significantly higher last season - there are so many legit players and entries the difference at that point is probably only 2-3 major decisions over the season. And they could just be 50/50s with variance rather than good vs bad calls.
This season I’m at about 200k and at that point I can pinpoint a big mistake or two. But even now feel like there’s some variance where with some other luck the rank is halved.

My big mistake is generally missing every Friday night deadline plus forgetting to hit save on the App (surely it’s time for auto save on the pick team function)

Tyson Gamble training at five-eighth with Broncos today. Cory Paix/Billy Walters interchanging at hooker. Jake Turpin training with reserves squad.

Yes I referred to them in an earlier post, when proposing Talatalo

Have a look at the 2020 seasons of 2 star wingers in 2021 that were showing similar form to Mulitalo last year:
- Too 2020 average 42 vs 2021 average of 58
- Garrick 2020 average 27 vs 2021 average of 53
All guys in their early 20s, when given a chance on a dominant side, they were able to step up their scoring significantly across a whole season. Garrick was very much under the radar last season next to Turbo, Mulitalo could do similarly this season, with Talakai taking the spotlight.
