I can’t help but think it’s 50/50 that Rushton is out as quick as he’s in, and there’s a bunch of teams running with 19 very early having also stashed Koula or Vailea.

Yeah, agree. Having stashed Koula *and* Vailea I still think Koula will get plenty of gametime. Maybe Vailea will come back, maybe not. I'd ditch him if there were options... they'll turn up eventually when a starting half or hooker gets injured. In the mean time it does damage cash gen.

TU: Mann and Wilton to Haas and Taaffe
TD: Mann and Hetherington to Lolo and Luki

1st Option gives me a genuine gun and some more cash generation from Taaffe.
2nd Option gets rid of my weakest player in my 17. I like the sound of Luki from the discussion today.

I'm leaning towards the 2nd options. A bit more risk bringing Luki straight in. But hopefully the lower expected score from Lolo is offset by the higher expected score from Luki over Taaffe. A bit more cash generation with both Lolo and Luki to gain a bit of coin. Both Rd 13 players.

    Thoughts on Mann?

Have him in my team, but has been underwhelming so far.

I'm pencilling Rushton In for 15 minutes at 10 points and then back to NSW cup for mattnz to calculate his points next week.

How bad of an idea is Hynes + JKing -> Lolo + Angus?

Loathe to trade out a gun but it fixes a lot of issues I have with my team balance and leaves me 115k ITB. Idea would be to bring him back R14.

    Would give me:
    Grant
    Lolo, Ming, Mann
    Wilton, Fifita
    (C)leary, Shneider
    Tago, May
    Teddy, Pap, SCrichton

    Randall, Angus, Nanai, Ilias
    Walters, Thompson, Billy Smith, Koula

I'm thinking 60+35 -> 50+50 is 5 points profit with upside + 50K, more R13 players and much better team balance. Downside is Walters probably bleeds a bit more, cash gen is a little dry. I've saved 5 trades so far.

Feels like either complete genius or a complete disaster, probably the latter tbh as I think about it more. I'm currently about 6k overall but I don't think my team is in a good spot to improve that without doing something . . . interesting.

Early trade plans looking like Crichton to Taafe + Sexton to Cleary, leaving me with this team pending DPP updates

    25 trades 1k itb

    Starling
    Ming Mann IPap
    Fifi Wilton
    (C)Cleary Schneider
    Burton Tago
    May Papi Hynes

    Randall Tuilagi Jones Nanai

    Taafe Penisini Leo Koula

Next week I will try to use Nanai and Mann to grab a cheapie and Haas.

    Might look at Staines next

Don't forget Naden. Hopefully good run for the Dogs coming up, $227K, job security (I think) - impossible to resist? I think so.

Unless you were an owner for the 2019 game that coined the term "Negative Naden". Hard pass from me, i learnt a stern lesson.

I am contemplating similar to get both Cleary and Mulitalo this round.

Hynes is priced at 58. If he keeps getting more 40s than 80s he is priced about right. The downside is that he is by far the top scoring WFB this season.

Really hard to judge who the top WFBs are going to be this year, but can say for sure he will be one of them.

Consider trading out Papy instead to fund the trade. Needs multiple tries to go big, which is rare. Also may be injured this week and will be a trade out over origin anyway.

Dont think Moale is a realistic option. Has 4 games, with 3 of them going 15 points or less, including both games this season.

They have a 4 forward bench this week and he is the least likely to get minutes.

Trading out Hynes or trading in Naden are two batshit ideas I've read today that I didn't even expect from the wilder corners of this forum.
