JKing to Luki to fund Burton to Cleary seems pretty safe eh?

Leaves me with 22 trades, 59k ITB and this:

    Cook
    TPJ, Yeo, Ming
    Fifi, Luki
    Cleary, Schieder
    Tago, Penisini
    Papy, Hynes, Critta

    Randall, Mann, Jones, Tuilagi

Huh. Flegler at 466. Cheapish for a decent player - albeit a walking judiciary ticket

Strongly considering Fermor + cash down > Angus + cashy this week. Feel like Angus back in the starting lineup is due for a meaty or two and a 70+ score

Fermor is playing the Cowboys and is up against Nanai, and will only lose 7k if he scores another 30-35. If he gets a 50 he makes 11k. Angus doesn't make much money unless he goes 70+ anyway, so no big rush on this one. Might wait till next week for a better cashout option, as there doesn't seem to be any good ones this week.

Fermor moved to bench with Jones taking his spot to spark some fire in his belly though.

Flegler is a risky play indeed, I originally had him coming in for Bullemor but I think for my sanity I’m better off with the Clark to Lolo trade. Just hope Bully can knock up a quick 20 when he come on so he doesn’t lose too much cash

Bit unsure on trades this week. Have 27 left so feel like I can afford a bit of a punt.

    Team is

    Starling
    iPap Haas Lolo
    Fermor Wilton
    Cleary Schneider
    Burton Penis
    Hynes Papy Coates

    Randall Tuilagi MKing Jones
    Nanai Ilias Thompson Koula

I need a WFB. Considering the gun options of Teddy or Ponga but not loving them. Probably will just go Taaffe and plug him into the 17 for his 30s.

Wouldn't mind grabbing Fifita but it would require something like Wilton and Fermor or Burton to fund it (along with Taaffe), probably not a smart move.

So leaning towards Wilton to Angus and Thompson to Taafe at this stage.

Looks good, nothing to fault there.

I'm tossing up Ponga/Teddy/Taafe for the 3WFB slot

And Verrils/Riki/AFifi/DFifi/Angus for the other - trying to balance points vs cash gen.

Leaning points given my ~7k ranking

Ponga and Teddy are tricky. Ponga has just busted out a big score and reminded us what he can do but are those scores going to be too few and far between is the question. Plus injury prone atm puts me off.

Teddy doesn't seem to be the same scorer he was previous years but I'm sure a 100 plus game is coming from him any round now too.

Taaffe just feels safe and allows investment elsewhere for now and pick up a gun wfb later

Yeah, thanks mate - that matches how I was feeling. Then I guess I'm going gun shopping! Ipap looks likely, but Grant tempting too. No Origin swings it a little, but I've got a bunch of Edges and weak HK. Ipap would leave 17k ITB for:

    Starling
    Haas Cotter Ming
    Ipap Fermor
    Schneider Cleary (C)
    Tago Burton
    Taafe Paps Hynes

    Randall May Mann Tuilagi

I don't get the Leo Thompson hate around here - the guy was a base price bench forward who has made 120k and will probably hold his value for as long as he's in the team. I'm happy I've dodged Koula, but I really think he was always a bigger punt job security wise than Thompson.

I've got to bring in a cheap scrubber to facilitate getting Cleary this week - probably going with Lee, but I'm not going to be bitching and moaning when he gets replaced by Hymel Hunt.

Only thing putting me off Luki is Payten but not much better looking single trades than Jing>Luki. I would have to 2 trade to get likes of Angus and would have to sell Leo to a possible future red dot like Rushton

    This morning I'm thinking Nanai and Jing to Taafe and Tolo.  Leave me with;

    Cook
    Tolo Yeo Ming
    Fermor Aitken
    Cleary Schneider
    Penis Burton
    Hynes Scritta Pappy

    Randall Mann Tago Taafe

    Ilias Leo Koula Vailea

Not sure I like it but not much I can do.  Starting 13 is solid enough without Haas or IPap I guess.  Other option was keep Nanai and go Ilias to Lee.

Or other option I can do was Nanai to Tualagi and Jing to Crichton, but that leaves me with no WFB cover.

I like that. iPap covers mid as well and you don't have any keeper edges yet anyway so wouldn't worry about having too many of them for now

Really hoping Luki and Tuilagi can be a viable EDG pairing for when it’s time to move Wilton and Fermor on

Those trades seem good, I don't like those other options at all. I guess with both Cook and Yeo it's kind of hard to get to Haas or iPap right now.

Anyone taking a punt on TMM this week? Also, is Cleary or Haas the priority this week?

Looks like Edrick is my only option this week (need WFB cover) as part of a Cleary trade. Leaves me with:

    Randall
    Haas, Mann, Ming
    Fifita, iPap
    Cleary, Schneider
    Penisini, Tago
    Pappy, Hynes, Crichton

    Starling, Tuilagi, Jones, Jing
    Hetherington, Walters, Thompson, Edrick
