NRL not allowing him to play until R11 for "reasons" is just.. what the hell? Makes literally no sense. What an organisation lol

Seems like a bit of "Yeah you can play NRL, but to make it seem like we still don't condone illegal activity, even though all your legal matters have been finalised, you can't play for a few weeks."

    EDIT: Found this on Wikipedia

The NRL granted a conditional registration to train with the Knights while he completes educational and rehabilitative programs, but he would not be permitted to play before round 11, providing 4 weeks for the relevant programs and assessment to be completed

Yeah also not thrilled but I have bigger fires to put out most weeks at the moment. He’s always been a bit of a volatile scorer and so I’m hoping he can string a couple of decent scores together over the next few rounds and flip him around Origin time.

He’s got 3 people in the top 100 that own him so he’s not the biggest liability around

Thoughts on Dylan Walker, could be a cut price Kurt Mann?
423k and Kurt is now at 600k
swap and bank 170k for similar scores?

Phil Gould really upping the 'drama' if those are the potential outs. Barely make a difference to their chances.

Why exactly would they need to debut some unknown kid for Naden when they have named Okunbor, Hoffman, Corey Allan, and Tuipolotu Katoa on their extended bench.

Yeah I don't recall NRL ever knocking back an exemption but even if Avo + Naden out, they have 4 guys that can play as direct subs. Plus probably a few EDGs that could shift.

Seems like a pisstake. They just want this kid to debut earlier than R11 when he actually should be allowed.

My favourite exemption was the Bulldogs getting Bradley Deitz to play hooker due to injuries... at R2, with a whole 2 players out. Whereas the correct answer should've been "sorry, that's just bad squad management". If you can't find a 3rd guy out of 30 to play dummy half, ask the Dragons to transfer you McGuire or something.

No one's mentioned Staines. Somehow jagged a 45 and priced at 286K. And yes, I know he was playing the Broncos last week.

I don't mind him but do you want to keep him to the end of the year? I don't think he scores enough to be a genuine cash cow.

If you don't mind the idea of having him in your 18-21 at the end, then go ahead, he's decent enough.

I think everyone is assuming he’s lost his spot to May when T’oo back

With all the shittos being thrown about maybe people should look at Cody Ramsey. Currently injured so you get a loop, and could get a crack at FB when he’s back since Sloan has been dropped.

Or this Kiraz kid averages 49.7 in NSW cup this season , give him a whirl that he can beat negative Naden, Avo or Schoupp for a backline gig

Pretty sure everyone has most of those, just looks better in this layout as Talakai frees up a 13-17 spot for now.

His good scores in that role were when Turbo was playing at the end of last season. They were dominating sides together, tearing them apart. Wouldn't surprise me if he is the same price when Turbo is back and could be a buy then potentially.

Mann is on the downside at the moment. If Jones gets fit enough to play 80, or they find a bench EDG he is a big minute lock averaging 50 again, with $100k still to make.

You dont think he could make 150k? Kurt made it to 600k with 2 scores over 50, granted playing more minutes but walker's in a better team and is starting 50k cheaper

After this week, I plan to have just 1 of these players, which is Talakai.

It was 5 but that also super irrelevant. We all know he’s a shitto that needs to score tries to get fantasy points. When he hasn’t against the Dogs, he has 5 and 11. When he had, he scored 50. Or are you seriously suggesting the Dogs are a bad matchup specifically for Staines where he won’t score tries?

I think if you believe he holds his place when Too is back he’s as good a shout as any sub 300k player.

I don't think he holds his spot. There's also the matter of 16, 17, 19, and 27(with a try) in one of best attacking teams in comp.
