I had Thompson pretty much all last season. He was always real solid. Just hurt me at the end of the season when he kept getting suspended

I dunno man, for a good team (and the Dogs should at least aspire to be one) then they had 6 tackles to really test the goal line defense - plenty of opportunity to shift the ball. The fullback had the kick so easily covered, so pretty much an <1% chance of an attacking result.

Instead they get goal line drop out, waste 2 or 3 tackles straight forward hit ups before getting to attack the goal line again.
It's overall just a lower percentage play for mine
