Hastings set that up for Brookes. Looks like he is exactly what the tigers need.

Love love love the way Hastings ran the show at the end and they already planned to Brooks to come in and take the kick unmarked

My popular request (by one person) and to celebrate a rare win, here's a re-post of my late unusual game preview
Well, here we are kents, a chance to avenge last year's epic encounter.
You all remember; the Tigers dominating the game for 75 minutes but only up by 2. Adam Reynolds steps up and hits a huge 2 point Vlandy field-goal special to tie the game.
Extra time; the Rabbitohs on attack, Joe-O races out of the line (like a clown) and Tom Burgess plods through the yawning gap, swerving little Daine Laurie and reaching out and wait for it... dropping the ball over the line.
Did he spill it? The on-field Ref says so.
Luke Brooks picks the spilt ball up and runs the length of the field to score down the other end to score with the Ref awarding the try - the Tigers win...
or do they...
bottom 8 teams never get the rub, just ask Todd & Justin.
Drama, the bunker is looking - you know the bunker - the one that's been conspicuously absent from assessing Tigers tries the last few weeks.
It rules enough pressure/control and the rest as they say is history.
2022 and we are return to CommBank stadium, scene of the greatest upset of the year - the struggling Tigers downing King Gutho's slimy Eels.
Next on the menu is those wascally wabbits.
And you can guarantee that I'll be there with my... um (actually nah my Dad's a kent) and TBH, I won't be there at all. I'll be sat on my arse at home, in the cosy comfort of my lounge wishing I owned a pool, while enjoying a moderately priced beer or few.
So I will raise a glass to those great fans that make this game what it is, the Rabbits and friends that will be out there standing and applauding. This one's for you boys.
Souths, what a team, beaten grand finalists, some say flat-track bullies, some say bottom 4 team (shout out to MS & co), but here at Tiger-town, we respect our opposition. We have to - Let's be honest, they're better than us- they all are better than us.
But that doesn't matter because Souths are also a bit shit. Strike centre Dane Gagai said "see ya, I don't want to be ya", Sua the enforcer thought the Dragons looked a better team to play for, and even the GOAT Nicholls is getting pushed out the door next year.
They lost Wayne and they lost their way. They shafted the heart of their team and shipped him up to sunnier pastures. Yes that's right, are Souths even Souths without Adam Reynolds? - and how good did he look leading around those mighty Broncos - If the comp contained 15 Bulldogs teams then Reyno might finally add another premiership ring to those tiny little hands - lord know he wasn't going to get one at Souths.
But one thing is for sure, South's soul resembles Morgan Harper's after a 40-minute dance with Siosifa Talakai.
The Tigers soul was also on death watch TBF, but then a little bit of magic and a murmur of a heartbeat emerges. Dane Laurie knocks King Gutho into next week with a tackle that shook the stadium. Jackson Hastings has one chance at immortality and nails a flat-footed field goal from (give or take) 80 metres and the Tigers rocket up the ladder to fifteenth - which I'm told is a combination of first and fifth at the same time.
So let's hold onto that belief boys, lets turn up for each other and honour the fallen with a show of brotherhood. And for the love of God, don't let Cook run (my intel informs me he's a former beach sprinter, who knew!?) and whatever you do, don't look into Cam Murray's beautiful blue eyes.
So let's hear it you beautiful long-suffering Tigers fans (if you're out there... is anyone out there... is anyone left??) You know the song;
Da
Da da da
Da da da
Da da daaaaaa
It's the eye of the Tiger
It's the thrill of the fight
Rising up to the challenge of our rivals*
*(approx every 3rd game - and usually losing still)
Look down that tunnel, put your hands together, stomp your feet and let's start our countdown
10, 9.... ahhh ummm what comes after 9? I'm sure I used to know a decade ago.
Doesn't really matter, because there's only one thing you need to know;
THE TIGERS ARE ALWAYS IN THE FUCKEN GAME!!!
*Apologies to any Rabbitohs, Broncos or Tigers fans for any offence caused.
** This was actually a lot of work, I tip my hat to you Rabbit, and appreciate you passion for the game - hope you enjoyed it (as much as I will enjoy the 2 points tonight)

5/354 for me, looking like a pretty nice round for me thanks to the Lord Talakai
Only had Cook in today's games, plus Nanai in the loop, so looking good so far.
My main guns left are (C)leary, Ipap, Munster and Papy

Far out, 129 tackles between Murray and Cook alone. Crazy numbers.
Rest of the team combined for 250

Watching game as neutral would've been travesty if Tigers didn't win that

No idea how Ilias got to 34, but I’ll take that for the Tuilagi replacement

Talakai needed Morgan Harper to get his Hundy, so what’s your point?

I am going to have enough money to bring in Cleary in one trade this week even if he score well but I am death riding for another 44 this week.
If only I had have trusted my gut on Nofo. Oh well I guess I can blame myself
