Stuff understands the Warriors will make a couple of changes to the team initially selected, with Jazz Tevaga and Taniela Otukolo coming into the 17, in place of Kodi Nikorima and Eliesa Katoa.

Tevaga is likely to start at lock, with Josh Curran playing on an edge and Bayley Sironen moving to the interchange bench.

If Tevaga keeps playing lock, he could be a great buy, depending on the return date for Tohu

I hope he doesn't score too well this week vs Storm, so he is a less obvious pickup next week at a cheaper price. A nice 40 in 55 minutes would do just fine.

Nah, watch him this week. He has trimmed down. Was given an ultimatum at the end of last season to get fit, with a high work rate or wouldn't be staying at Warriors.

Has a 0.9PPM this season and is fit enough to play big minutes. Expecting the 57 in 61 minutes to be pretty standard. Should be back to the gun player we saw in:
2020 average of 50
2019 average of 48
2018 average of 46

2021 was the outlier with an average of 39, when form and fitness were down. Likely to be priced at around 37 next week.

In 2019 he averaged 62 at starting lock in 67 minutes. Hard to find that kind of upside potential at $500k. If he gets the Curran role, with Curran edge, he will be a great buy.

That's all good but why would you expect a 40 in 55 minutes today?

Not expecting, hoping.

Keeps him in the too risky category for most, with uncertainty around Tohu's timeframe to return and keeps the price down to trade him in.

Wouldn't be the first player this season to score poorly vs Storm.

If he scores 60 in 70 minutes everyone grabs him.

I'm worried about Tohu coming back. Probably just play Jing and save trades this week

These are the type of risks you need to take occasionally to have a chance to win the comp. If he plays starting lock getting decent minutes each week until round 13, he is a great buy. I would do that trade in a heartbeat this week.

Hard to judge when Tohu is going to return. He said in November he was hoping for a return around R8, but then also mentions mid-May. nrl.com is saying mid-season. Some clarity of likely return date would be helpful.

What I want to know is why E. Katoa has suddenly become out of favour I thought he was playing well so it can't be form related.

Found an update from this week in an article interviewing Tohu:

"The target is round nine [May 8] but the nine-month mark is around round 10 or round 11," said Harris.

"So there is still a bit of time, still a few boxes to tick but hopefully I can get out there sooner rather than later."

Think I saw someone say Tass likely to be an in next week for the Rabbits, is that just a hope thing or was their an injury?
