Do you reckon Hastings can avg around 50 over the next say 6-8 weeks?

Yes I’d love to take Hastings but to afford him I’d be trading out hunt which seemed too sideways for me

I think he’ll go really well next few weeks

I think I'll go Nanai to Hastings this week, single trade and he only needs to average 45 to make 100k in 3 weeks, worst case he does that and caps out just before 1st bye, best case he averages mid 50s and is a hold through to 2nd bye

This means I will have banked 2 trades instead of possibly 3, but I'm actually still ahead of where I was last year in terms of trades left, in total I have 24 left (including the 4 that we get later), and I had 23 left this time last year.

How does Randall+Taaffe -> Hastings and Tevaga sound?

Will give me a team of:

    Cook
    Murray Yeo Tevaga
    iPap Tuilagi
    Cleary Hastings
    Penisini Tago
    Hynes Coates Pap

    Ming Jones Aitken Schneider

    Ilias Rushton Thompson Koula

Only negative is that I won't have any hooker coverage, but I'll probably save up for Grant (or Josh Cook if he gets a chance soon).

    Edit:

Or should I get Talakai instead of Tevaga? His break even is looking nice, but he's going up against Staggs.

Is anyone worried with how poor the Dogs are doing that Jackson might be moved to edge in some games like was around a month ago?

I like Hastings especially for the cash gen after missing Talakai and better job security than Jazz.

I think Holbrook is finally realising they have a problem getting quality ball to Fifita. Brimson could easily solve that. I would be holding Fifita this week.

Not getting why people want Jackson when TPJ is right there at similar price, better average, more upside and dual position.

Put in Jackson this week, couldn’t afford TPJ with trades literally $1k left also think Jackson will be more consistent, though I do love a 4 point offload

Still think Pangai has a blow up in him, but yeah definitely see why people would prefer TPJ

Just realised Jackson is DPP too, but still feels like buying the used Corolla with 200000kms on the clock over the vintage sports car (that will probably break down a couple of blocks from the car yard but still…)

    JTB + Randall > Koula + Tevaga + 188k

Seems reasonable. With Tohu, Curran, Aitken all with injuries, Jazz HAS to be good for 4-5 weeks right? Average of 57 when starting lock over 40 minutes. Should make good coin and be a valuable round 13 player if all goes well.

Tevaga and Hastings do seem the obvious trade in's this week.

Randall & Nanai to Tevaga and Hastings probably.

Burton can just hang around, doesn't make sense to punt him when it means I need to bring another centre in.

Then will grab Cheese next week for hooker cover.

Looking like we are thinking a bit differently to other fantasy communities. Tevaga not really on the radar for most. Just 0.44% trading him in so far this week, which would make him about 20th most popular trade in.

Hastings also well behind TMM and Talakai too.

Some weird trading going on. Suaalii, Moeroa, Luke, Perham all making the list

    SIOSIFA TALAKAI 5.14%
    TE MAIRE MARTIN 3.55%
    NATHAN CLEARY 3.12%
    JACKSON HASTINGS 1.57%
    ISAIAH PAPALI'I 1.03%
    SONI LUKE 0.95%
    HAYZE PERHAM 0.93%
    BRANDON SMITH 0.85%
    TEPAI MOEROA 0.84%
    TOLUTAU KOULA 0.75%
    EDRICK LEE 0.75%
    JOSEPH SUAALII 0.73%
    TOM STARLING 0.69%
    ISAIAH TASS 0.68%
    HARRY GRANT 0.61%

Averaged 73 as starting EDG with Brimson at fullback17 tries last season.

    King - Jazz

Think that’s the only trade I’ll make this week

Think I'll be banking 2 trades this week. Hastings I like his fantasy potential but Tigers are one loss away from blowing it up at any point. Tevaga I've owned enough times in fantasy to know how this ends

You seem to miss the reason he got 17 tries. He was getting quality ball on attack. That is the only difference this season. If they solve it, he goes back to last season's form.

    Different experiences, different ownership times

Jazz has always been a mainly pleasant ownership for myself mate over the years

Its like Latrell for me, every time I have owned him has scored like shit, whenever I don't he scores well. Others have the opposite experience.
