Sounds like your gut says to let him go through to the keeper. Decent chance it's not wrong.

I'm blinded by round 13 at the moment. It will be my downfall, but I want as many numbers as possible, so I'll probably hold Burton, Nanai etc for that round. If Jazz didn't play round 13, I'd have absolute ZERO interest. Not sure what to make of that. The thought of adding Starling and Jazz to the stocks is tempting, but Hastings is probably the better long term play. Snatch makes great points though.

He is playing better than any CTR we have seen, averaging in 4 rounds at CTR over 20 points more than any CTR ever has. When talking about his performances on tv, they are saying the most recent comparison they have is Mal Meninga and even then Talakai can do things he couldn't.

People seem to be hung up on his position, not how he is playing and the impact he is having on the team every week. If he ends up averaging 55-60 he is head and shoulders above the next best CTR and still massively underpriced.

Last season we saw both Cleary, Turbo and Fifita break the ceiling of what we thought was possible in their positions. No reason Talakai can't this year at CTR.

I thought there was a separate thread for this stuff.

I have this unlikely best case scenario in mind for Jazz, where he performs well at lock and Brown decides he wants both Curran and Tohu on the field for 80 minutes on the EDG, with Aitken strengthening the CTRs. Could easily be their best defensive setup.

In that unlikely scenario he becomes a gun keeper for the season.

    There is:

Fair to say 99% of forum is sick of it. I wouldn't like to have to ban people so close to the next Talakai game.

Graham is a different player than Wilton, will see if Talakai sees the same amount of room. I wouldn't be surprised if they go right more.

I'd say good chance by R13 Harris and Curran are back and Tevaga is limping to 23 points in 30 mins.

I don't think he's a bad punt, but it really is a 4-week smash and grab hoping for 50s and enough price rises to trade him back out to a real gun. R13 wouldn't come into my thinking for him, even with the Warriors playing it.
