Talakai was averaging over 60 at CTR this season before taking the field against Harper for a banner. Shouldn't focus on the 1 game.

Only reason I'm going Jazz before Hastings is that Jazz has a shorter shelf life to make his cash, as I don't see him as a keeper (Tohu + Curran returning), whereas Hastings will likely be at least a cut-price keeper so the price rises aren't as important.wolfking wrote:
Can probably grab Jazz next week if he looks good again, probably not too late still.
So has Jarrod Croker (3-game sample)mattnz wrote:

0.73% bringing him in this week, (about 20th most popular this round), taking him to 1.1% ownership. Will be a massive POD. We are either really right, or really wrong on him.

Agree, Hastings would be #1 pick here, would estimate Tevaga is likely still top 3. At least Tevaga has gun keeper score pedigree, unlike TMM.rhinoceroo wrote:
TMM is much more popular in the outside world than he is on here. So - judging by a lot of people saying it's too late - is he who cannot be named.
Hastings seems more popular on here.

haha i am the same.
I am also interested in Hastings, but I haven't seen the Tigers games since he returned, so i just see two scores in the 50's that literally anyone in the comp can put together at some stage. I guess if it wasnt for some of the better fantasy judges on here grabbing him then I wouldn't have noticed him at all.
My fear with Hastings is that Tigers just revert to shithouse, but also Brooks just starts being Brooks again and getting in the way/taking more ball/kicks/etc.
Also depends on if you want both Tevaga and Hastings. If you only want one, and position doesn't matter, probably just get Hastings. I ideally want both, so getting Jazz now, Hastings next week.wolfking wrote:
Mate, what an excellent point. Jeez, that makes me think.
Hastings BE of 8 and Tevaga 15, but 35K more expensive. I guess what you're saying really makes sense. If they both get around 50, Hastings will be $550 and Tevaga $575. Hmmm.....
My other trade in Starling with a 50 goes up to $660, I'd can justify $629, just but more than $650, probably not.
I can't believe I'm thinking Tevaga, I had zero interest in him 2 days ago, is the NRLFF echo chamber in full swing once again here?

That's a valid point, even though he is a potato, he's had the run of scores to back it up given time on the field.
He likes a concussion or injury though, that's my concern.
