When people say they have xx trades left are they including the 4 they get later in the year or the actual number showing in the app/site?

Ramientoa when the opposition gameplan has no idea they would go that way after putting 13 players on Talakai... Apparently

I forgot the point of my post, wasn't meant to be mostly a brag post, haha! The point I was going to make was, that his current price and break even are almost identical to when I brought him in then.

That is how teams with bad ranks remain teams with bad ranks.

Keep taking risks until they fall so far behind they have to take risks

The risk depends on who you are punting for him and how many trades you have spunked away so far.

e.g. I am thinking of punting Mann who has a BE of 54 (which he has only beaten once this year), doesn't play 13, has started to lose cash but has bankled a decent gain of $222k & has a three game rolling avg. of 37

PIcking up Jazz I can pocket $60k and, based on the 3 game rolling average, an extra 10-12 points a week leading into round 13...which may be ambitious

The risk is that he loses the spot due to suspension, Tohu coming back and playing bulk minutes, Curran returning early from an MCL or the Warriors being quite shit and Brown continually shuffling things around

There is no doubt that it's a risk but in the grand scheme of things, as long as taking these risks with every trade is not your modus operandi, it's not a biggy....the cost is probably a trade and some blood pressure medication (I'm assuming here that Mann doesn't somehow turn it around and become a welded on keeper)

Edit : Plus the fact that I will drag this out until the last minute and then probably not make the trade

I think it's best to forget about those four trades and play what's in front of you

Don't think I'll bring Sexton back in (unless he starts showing some very good reasons to)
But Burton is firmly on my trade in radar. Not this week, but will definitely try and time it to get him at his cheapest

Do you think last week's zero negatives, try save, 6 TBs vs the Dogs is sustainable? I don't

I think Hastings is this weeks trade in.

Even if when the Tigers stop winning games, he touches the ball so much that points are bound to be on offer.

Concern might be what happens when Doueihi gets back, but he's surely given himself a decent run at number 7, and won't get cheaper than he is now.

    Thanks mate

Yeah I had a good look. I agree with your points. I'm spooked by Doooi, he plays for Tigers, doesn't play 13, tight to make 150, plays for Tigers. Hmmm 😁

Can do Sexton to Tevaga in one trade.

Annoys me that Brimson is back to fb this week, niggling feeling Sexton will turn it around, but probably not.

Ironic that I was 50/50 between Dylbro and Talakai for Fifi when I sold the week he finally scored big. Now I'm selling Dylbro 20k odd more than bought to buy Talakai for +200k more than he was then

At the moment I am trading Randall + Mann to Hastings+ Tedesco

Currently playing Koula/Edrick at WFB so want to strengthen that, and as posted earlier I think Hastings is the best buy this week.

I don't think Knights will improve in the short term so cashing in there

This means keeping Nanai, so also considering trading Nanai instead of Randall, and bringing in someone else instead of Teddy. Probably Nofo if I want a WFB, although I am concerned he'll revert to average scores if tries dry up.

Looking at cheese because he's so cheap, but i think the main reason he was so good last year was because tries were base stats, and I am not 100% confident on how high he'll get up to this year

Yeah I'm thinking if Jazz hits a somewhat conservative average of 50 he makes around 120k over the next 4. Tohu due back Rd 12 from a knee injury, but could be eased back or return to SR and give Jazz more time to peak. Good stepping stone to a gun after Rd 13.

Those scores would be pretty handy in the meantime with all these 20s and 30s in the 14-17.

I love owning and watching the cheese, but agree the WFB is more of a priority. Especially with Bird out and possibly Aitken.

If Jaydn S'ua is out for a while, does Josh McGuire become interesting?

Iffy security but $614k not bad if he keeps a starting spot. He does have decent fantasy pedigree

I am in a dickhead then

Seriously though, I think he may still come good. Bit like Hastings he needs to be allowed to steer the ship, Ilias too
The walkers/brimsons are overplaying their hand.
Plenty of talent but they are ball playing runners so they need to give these guys a chance to control and allow the others to play off the cuff
Dearden has been good in that role, moylan too

If they can't do the job then move them on, but surely they can be given a year to have a proper go

Looked at that and thought the same.

If he gets 80 he scores well (added incentive of playing for a contract). He is a big old suspension risk though....

Would be nice if he stays there until 12 and gets DPP
