This is so painful to watch

I've seen better passers of the ball at under 9s than Arthur

Bunker doesn't have Penisini in his fantasy team (was totally a knock-on tbf)

poisoncup wrote: Think longer term though. Teddy is a definite keeper and I’d guess that he’ll safely score more points between now than the end of the year than Talakai will, Origin included. So yes, it’s not a terrible trade with a couple of weeks of perspective. But you’ve sold a keeper to get someone who, in my opinion doesn’t look like a season long gun scorer/keeper. You gotta follow your gut obviously, but you also need to think more than a couple of rounds ahead. At this rate you’ll be getting smashed at the end of the season because you’ve used all your trades on speculative things like this. Best time to get Talakai was when you didn’t have to trade a gun to bring him in, I think it would’ve just been better to admit you’d missed the boat.

I was thinking long term when making this trade.

Teddy between now and the end of the Origin period will score significantly less than other guns, factoring in the games he will miss, and the insanely tough draw he has between round 10 and 18. His team has been very poor this year and I don't see them going well against good teams for a while still.

With Talakai, my reasoning was as follows

    * If he is not a keeper, he will make short term money and can then be moved on for a round 13 gun (Lolo or someone like that) - he has done this already with his score last week

    * If he is a keeper, then I keep him and get Teddy back in round 18-20 by other means, and I have got a gun in for significantly less than most people did

Trading keepers is possible this year given we have 2 trades more than we did last year, and only one less than Supercoach did last year. That said, I don't intend to trade any more keepers unless they're injured.

Cotter is repaying the faith in spades tonight to his owners

Another fan of the cowboys team this year
Alot of young forwards and without hype they have played well and become an enjoyable watch
People like Townsend have copped heaps so it has been pleasant to prove some wrong
You only have to look at all the fantasy relevant players to realise its a real team effort this year

I think tonights rotation and lineup has been their best too, gives them plenty of options and the hammer covers the backs well

Has been 18th man for weeks but just can't fit him in and is fun to watch

Did Gilbert get injured or did Payten really play him for a 13 minute stint in the middle that second half?

I punted him so hard to Hastings for 7k and a trade that I'll never admit I could've possibly made a mistake.

Cotter at 80 is a must-have but where the fuck did it come from and how do we trust it to continue? Payton seems to roll a dice to determine how much he’s playing his forwards each week.
