robelgordo wrote:Ponga would be a good half, but it took a season for Lockyer to look comfortable there. So he's on a hiding to nothing with that team, coming in midseason to the role. Probably makes the Knights better while Ponga looks worse, if that makes sense.

At least Vailea won't lose money this week!

Didn't they only try it for 2-3 weeks?
Lockyer was a failed experiment if you stopped after 2-3 weeks.
edit - I see a few people already pointed this out. But it's the difference between having runs on the board. Bennett wants to try something, it doesn't work straight away, he can persist until it works. Or Bellamy with Munster. A coach like Nathan Brown wants to try something, it doesn't work straight away, he has to panic because his job is on the line.

Maybe he moves to CTR if he makes way for CHT? Would think he offers more than the current CTR options. Not ideal for fantasy though I guessmrbrownstone wrote:Anyone looking at Asi?
Plays R13 and could make a bit of money if he can hold the spot, plus CTR/WFB playing at HLF is fairly handy.
Obviously risky with CHT due back R12 and Kodi due back soon too, but it's not like Kodi was starting when he' was fit and CHT has hardly performed well enough to be nailed on.
