I'm assuming you mean the kick for touch off a penalty. It can bounce. But then way more likely the other team gets it before it goes out.

Other options is Ilias and Schneider out for Tass and Hastings and wait on Tolo, but the Cook idea is interesting.

I probably won't but is this as dumb as other trades we've seen happen around here?  Considering the position am I playing with fire after getting a massive win by starting with him?  We've seen last week he crawled to 55 and looks like he still could have a low game in him.  Can banner though, I know.

Im considering using the cash from Talakai.

he is about 200k over priced IMO.

Could pick up Angus or TPJ with the munnie.

I think it's likely too. Could do worse than a punt on him at $316k, don't think I have a trade out that makes sense for him though and already have enough poor scoring CTR/WFBs

A lot of posts regarding "Do you like this trade involving Elliott?" Hard to answer without a deeper look at Elliott. Minutes are hard to work out, but *IF* Ricky sticks with the current plan for a while, I could see something like these interchanges happening:

    1. 20min Papa off for Starling (via Elliott)
    2. 20min Sutton off for CHN (via Whitehead)
    3. 25min Tapine off for Horse
    4. 33min Elliott off for Papa
After half time middles are Sutton, Whitehead, Horse
    5. 55min Whitehead off for Tapine
    6. 60min Sutton off for Elliott
    7. 60min Horse off for Papa
    8. Injury/supersub interchange

Tapine or Papa could be the one having their minutes over three stints.

    Giving minutes of:

    Papa 47
    Tapine 50
    Starling 60
    Elliott 53 (20 hooker, 33 lock)
    CHN 60
    Young 80
    Horse 35
    Sutton 40
    Whitehead 55 (20 edge, 35 lock)

    = 480

Could be five minutes here or there, I could see Horse picking up another five possibly.

In terms of output, Elliott's average at lock is probably the best predictor. PPM of 0.75 over 53 minutes just gets you to 40. This will certainly make money, priced at about 28.5 but won't make it as fast as we would hope. 40 moving forward becomes a little awkward in terms of playability in your 17. And all of this of course is dependent on Ricky not mucking around with it again.

I'm interested to hear others' thoughts on this. Have I got it close? Those that are really keen, do you expect more minutes, or higher output playing hooker? Or happy to just take the 10+ points value? Those not keen, are my assumption overly optimistic?

I've come up with a galaxy brain method of getting Tass while still being able to hedge against May being ruled out, any holes in my strategy?

Step 1: Use the 1st trade to go Penisini to Tass, play him on Thursday night

Step 2: Check team lists 1hr before the Penrith game

    * If May is IN, then use the 2nd trade to go Jones to Cotter
    * If May is OUT, then trade May back to Penisini (playing Koula at WFB), and then trade Jones to Lolo (as I would have enough money to do this if I sell May, but not if I sell Penisini

I'm pretty convinced they close it in a year or two and push everyone onto Supercoach. Didn't realise it was now open to Kiwis. That was basically NRL Fantasy's only competitive advantage.

I'd like it better if Cook was missing a week for some reason. It's the only reason I'm considering Haas out, and the fact that he could reinjure it, and pick him up again later.

Yeah I know.  The thought of deathriding Cook isn't ideal.

If I had Haas, I'm not sure if I'd trade him.  I dunno, Cook feels like a lower tier than Haas to me.  Maybe just because I don't own him.  He's terrifying to watch as a non owner but I can understand the thinking.

I guess I can give Cook a week.  If Tolo goes big, I can swap and still bank some coin.

Trading May back to Penisini would not cost a trade, as I own both players before trades.

Does his 16 in base stats 35 against the Raiders inspire confidence because it doesn't for me. Just another Taaffe TMM trap that's already overpriced

I know you can do this in Supercoach, not 100% sure if it works in Fantasy

As far as I can tell, as long as you can afford the trade, both players are in the right positions (or on the bench), and that both players have not locked out, you can do it.

22 trades (not including the trades we get at the end)

4 keepers, 2 potential keepers. Need to spend at least 11 trades to get a 17 full of keepers.
6 Peaked, 2 out, 1 peaking, 2 potentially peaked or peaking, that's 11 players to trade out. going to have some insane trades once we can do 4 a round.

This round thinking Wilton + Fifita -> Crichton + Papalii

I'd grab Tolo over Chricton and play one of Tuilagi or Nanai @ Edge
