    Tedesco & Crichton

Jackson - 1st game after covid so how will his fitness/energy levels be like as it affects people differently some just carry on as usual & some struggle.
Robson - I'm not sure if he's got the 80 min role secure yet.

Thanks lads. Yeah I have Jackson as last pick after COVID, see how he pulls up

Tedesco is the safe play even though Origin but a punt on Robson is tempting

I hope it doesn’t ‘fall apart’ because I picked him up last week. Needed decent mid cover with the Mann news and he was a straight swap for Leo Thompson who has just about expired and doesn’t play R13.

He won’t be in my 17 barring other outs and will hopefully be another warm body for R13. Worst case he is more playable than Leo if needed. Best case, makes $100-$150k, gets me 50 points in R13 and he can become a R17 player after that  lol!

Sweet pickup Al. Im balking at 399k, but at 367k with a 53 in the bank you will win out in most scenerios from here.

My opinion is don't force cheapies. If you are going to trade in someone cheap for the sole reason that they are cheap just don't because they are so hard to move on.My punt on Tevaga was dumb but worst case scenario I have 550k+ to work with to get someone else with.

Im not quite as down on Tevaga just yet, but I fell for his charms also. Makes me far more risk averse when considering Elliot now, because I can’t pick up another uncertainty with the jury still out on Jazz. Wish I had just taken the plunge on Elliot for a lot less. We can’t all have balls as big as Al though.

Jackson and Robson if you are playing for overall.
Crichton and Tedesco if you are playing H2H (or you are desperate for WFB)

Tbh, even if overall i’d still consider Jackson and Crichton despite the latter’s origin concerns. It would be a nervous TLT as a Robson owner, always waiting to see if Granville pops up

I don’t have the tech SkIlls or patience on my phone to quote and modify / spoiler your post Pookus - but Elliot was more desperation than big balls. I also considered him less risk than Tevaga (per $), and more useful than Leo. Worst case I’ve burned a trade (been done plenty of times before), but he has previous semi-pedigree and potential upside. One injury / suspension anywhere in the pack and I reckon he’s next cab off the rank.

My biggest problem now is who to play each week with my team getting very ‘middy’ much to my disgust.

Asi, 35 points in his first game, after one training session with the warriors

    CHT out for 3/4 weeks,
Kodi nikorima immediate release to south’s (has played his last game)

Playing half but listed as ctr/wfb
    Plays rd 13

    Price 316$

    Break even 12 (approx)

I have used so many trades but boy am I tempted by him,

    Potential cash cow,

    Passed my eye test,

    Anyone else tempted to gamble?

Any interest in Schuster? Rd 13 player. Priced fairly but perhaps some upside as a young emerging player.

Looking at moving on from Wilton, and was planning on moving to Chrichton. Wondering whether then risk of origin and / or a failure to return to gun status makes Schuster a better option.

He's a lock for both Origin and NZ, so no interest here.

If it wasn't for this forum, I probably might have stopped playing the game already. I am a regular at the arse end of the FOG but I'm not too fussed. I don't post massive amounts but I like the characters on here, learn weird stuff all the time and just enjoy some internet hours where people aren't trying to rip each other to shreds. It's quite good on here, that's all.

This is definitely the “go to” place for me, although I am part of other groups, which I sometimes regret. In these other groups, not only do you have to wait for a “moderator” to “approve your post” which often doesn’t get seen until after the game ends, but many “comedians” of these “fantasy groups” will not give a serious answer.

I do read a lot here, should post more often, maybe, but everyone here is genuinely nicer than in those “other places”. I’ve no doubt that some posters here are “easy targets”, but if something happened in their personal life and they are brave enough to share it, we’re gonna support that person 100% or the best we can. I know you won’t get that anywhere else, so yeah, I’m very appreciative of this family and of those behind the scenes who make this place what it is.

    Cotter still a good in?

    DFifita - Cotter
    AFifita - Elliott

Can dump JKing but should hold some value and more reliable score than Elliott in the 13?

I’m wondering about Cotter, should Origin selection no matter how possible it might be act as a deterrent? If I don’t trade in a MID I’ll be playing Leo in the 13 and the closer I get to the weekend the less keen I am

It's like a little family. Everyone has their own little quirks, but ultimately everyone wants the best for everyone else. Way I see it:

Rabbits21 is the younger brother who has not yet had his exuberance and optimism beaten out of him by the harsh realities of the world, and you find that sweet. You might make fun of him yourself, but if anyone else comes for him you get protective and you'll literally destroy them.

mattnz is the strange older brother who goes his own way and lives an unconventional life, drawing scorn and ridicule from the family. You don't understand his decisions most of the time, but occasionally he'll do something that makes you think there's wisdom in his ways (Talakai).

Beth is the sister who, while independent and intelligent, occasionally needs to be talked out of chasing after bad guys by her siblings (see: whatever she was trying to do with the Tass/Pensini trade)

All the mods are parents. You badly want their approval, and there's nothing more heartwarming when they tell you to "post more" or upvote your posts.
