I also considered him less risk than Tevaga (per $), and more useful than Leo. Worst case I’ve burned a trade (been done plenty of times before), but he has previous semi-pedigree and potential upside. One injury / suspension anywhere in the pack and I reckon he’s next cab off the rank.

My biggest problem now is who to play each week with my team getting very ‘middy’ much to my disgust.

I don’t like this at all Al- No more talking yourself down on your good pick. It may have been from desperation, but it was still an astute choice and you are one step ahead of the pack for it. The bonus is that the effect rolls on, if you still have ample trades (and assuming you picked up Hastings), you are free to move on the Seyfarths of the world a week earlier than others whilst the masses are still playing catchup on your picks.

Looking at moving on from Wilton, and was planning on moving to Chrichton. Wondering whether then risk of origin and / or a failure to return to gun status makes Schuster a better option.

I like it, voted him in for the community team, but not much interest from others besides Booze. Priced at 43 and averaged 45 last year accounting for the TB nerf. Wasn't a big offloader, but a pretty good rookie season and maybe goes up a level this year. I think Manly have competed well the past two and Trbo returning could see them on the rise the next few weeks. If he wasn't playing the Rd 13 bye I might look elsewhere, but I think it's a punt that could pay off, or if not, trade him for a Rd 17 gun after the bye.

I am willing to bet that if the official comp stopped, that the talented people involved here would likely kick off an equivalent comp that would still have a cult like following.

In my SC team, I intended to trade Fermor out, but now wondering if he'll benefit from Fifita's absence. Ideas and opinions anyone?

Am slightly worried if Cotter gets 60 minutes at prop as opposed to the 80. His scores the two weeks prior were right where he’s priced at or lower so doesn’t represent value

Anyone else interested in taking a punt on Keary? It would definitely be a brave move

Will Smith a better option than Asi? Sounds like the coach realises he needs more experience in his spine. He was happy with how Brimson went at fullback

I found this place via Google when I wanted to try my hand at NRLF. Was mainly a SC player before and now that I've been here awhile, I've found the community much better on here than any SC one I've been part of. In other words..  I'm not fn leaving

What's everyone's thoughts on aitken? Overpriced? Need to get edrick out of my starting team, so thinking fifita -> crichton/tpj and mann -> tedesco/Aiken (will move SCrichton to wfb if I go aitken). Allows me to push lee into reserves.

Would you go Aiken for rd13 or teddy?

My thoughts were his role seemed fairly safe, played the fist bye and capable of a big play while fairly cheap
Coming around to contract time too
Doesn't really have a bad game either looking through last years scores

You pretty much covered it above
He would be one of those players where if I got stuck with him all year then thats ok too but if trades were kind could become a rd 17 player too
There is definite upside there definitely, and for someone who already has lolo/cotter/tpj I was looking at this next tier

Unsure where I go with my trades but have a pool of 5-6 players and it probably comes down to May playing or not with what I do

Seeing a few good options this week.

You present a good case for Asi. I expect he loses his spot when CHT returns.

Really liking the look of Tass. Could easily be the next Tago / May / Penisini at a really cheap price point. Looks much better than the other guys that they have played in that center spot this season.

My POD pick for the week is Carrigan. Plan to get him as the "Anti-Haas". Any minutes taken off Haas with injury concerns are likely to go to Carrigan. PPM beast, looking to get huge minutes. 2020 average of 60 in 67 minutes. Higher PPM this season so far, just injuries that have been stopping him. Should score similarly to Haas for $240k less.

That 80 minute game was the outlier. Has there been any comment from the coach on it?

Do we know anything more about Luciano’s hamstring injury? Hamstrings are a tricky little injury and Seyfarth has a average of 56 when covering the edges.

Available for 347k at MID. Would love a month of that

Think you're right about Tass and Carrigan, both look like decent picks. I'm a bit of a bye planner though, find it hard to pick these guys. I occasionally miss out on a really good cow though as a result. Thoughts on Elliott? I'm really having trouble deciding..

I was pretty keen on going Jones to Elliott however I already own Sidewinder and Starling and three Raiders is one to many for me, for a few dollars more I think I might roll the dice with Cody Walker.

Purely anecdotal, but Luciano seems to recover from season ending injuries midgame on a regular basis. No details on the WT website other than hamstring injury. Maybe one of those 1-2 week deals.
