Purely anecdotal, but Luciano seems to recover from season ending injuries midgame on a regular basis. No details on the WT website other than hamstring injury. Maybe one of those 1-2 week deals.

Yeah thought as much. Although a couple of weeks of that wouldn’t be too bad for the price paid, with a chance for more

I don't think I could pick Calker. Tass and Ipap are better, but more JS risk. then again more judiciary risk with Tpj. Yep I think the first one.

Think you're right about Tass and Carrigan, both look like decent picks. I'm a bit of a bye planner though, find it hard to pick these guys. I occasionally miss out on a really good cow though as a result. Thoughts on Elliott? I'm really having trouble deciding..

Hard to back a makeshift Hooker getting consistent minutes in a losing Raiders pack, which constantly changes even when they are winning.

I love the Seyfarth pick, would be good to know the likely timeframe for Lucy. Seyfarth has some shocking scores off the bench. Becomes an immediate trade out when he returns.

I'm thinking now I'll have to get Tass just to try and boost some cash gen as I'm lacking. I think he's marking Staggs though.........

I could go Jing to Elliot to get the money for Hastings but have a feel Jing is going to keep improving. I'm iffy on Elliot.

    Exactly.

Why did he play 68 minutes.  I can't recall, were there injuries or HIA's?

Owning Starling already gives me enough anxiety, and he’s done great for me. I can’t go near Elliott personally.

Yep. I think his first interchange at 33 min was planned though. And if not for the HIA would have come on for a second stint, *maybe* at around 60 min mark, for around 53 minutes all up. Of course, Whitehead is back too this week, he'll play more minutes than Rushton, that's for sure. Possibly too many risks here, he might not even start this week, let alone the next five.

Priced at 27. Bye cover. MID cover. Goes to middle rotation after opening hooker stint. Downgrade from Mann no brainer for me

He got the 3 Dally M points so can’t have been a complete spud. Surely Ricky takes that in to account when dishing out his minutes.

    He’s my Talakai lol!

Whitehead on edge is red herring relative to Elliot. Of course he'll play 80 on the edge

Sniffing around carrigan. Odds on him playing origin? Qld have better forwards depth this year

Tino, papalli, mofo, carrigan, cotter, arrow, Collins, molo all competing for what 5 spots

    Am I missing anyone?

That’s one of the things it says on the packet:
    Cheap
    Mid Cover
    Edge Cover
    R13 player
    Shit kent
    Cheap

I'm still leaning towards a bold punt of trading Haas out. Missing two out of the next five and playing busted. It's a punt and don't recommend it for everyone, but I think I have a trade or two more than average. Current team:

    Cook
    Haas Lolo Ming
    Ipap Tuilagi
    Cleary Hastings
    Burton Tago
    Pappy Hynes Coates

    Starling Nanai Schneider Jones

Ilias Taafe Koula Thompson 134k 24 trades

Jones is obviously a problem, Coates is a risk in the 17 and I'm getting less confident with Schneider.

I'm considering Haas -> TPJ, frees up cash and plays two extra games in the next five weeks. Allows Jones to Turbo. I like the idea of getting a head start on him. Luxury for a fantasy coach not generating enough cash though... Would leave:

    Cook
    Lolo TPJ Ming
    Ipap Tuilagi
    Cleary Hastings
    Burton Tago
    Pappy Hynes Turbo

    Starling Nanai Schneider Thompson

    Ilias Coates Taaffe Koula

Gun 13, but bench a bit weak. Happy to play Thompson in the 17 this week though. Only leaves 35k though and then I'll find myself wanting to upgrade Thompson with no real pathway. Although Coates wouldn't be too far off being able to cash in.

Another option is Teddy instead of Turbo. Means I have 126k for further upgrades.

Third option was do the Haas to TPJ and Jones to Turbo trade, but delay TPJ for one week and bring in Elliott instead. Frees up a wad of cash so Thompson/Ilias/Taafe could become TPJ next week. I'd be playing Elliott for the foreseeable future though.

    Any thoughts welcome.
