NRL Fantasy 2022 Part 41 - Burbo is the new Turbo
Guest- Guest
Ended up on 869 & dropped rank 10,073 to 10,273. My trade this week will be Pappy to Burton to build up rd 13 players. Will also trade Leo Thompson to a rd 13 player.

Only managed 824 this week and slide further to 13547th.
Now to the joke of my team. Held Sexton. Didnt play him but would have been better off if i did (punted on Koula having a good score). Trade options for Sexton all performed poorly anyway (tass, both walkers, will smith to an extent) so no real loss (expect for his $ value)

The weather forecast for the next week in Brisbane is literally shithouse. Will be a shame if its shit for magic round.

I thought Sexton looked like a round 13 gun after the first couple of weeks. Surprised how much his fantasy scores have dropped off.
AFB has become the joke of my team. Have held him from the start. He hasnt thrown an offload since rd 2 and looks to be just going through the motions

The way I don't like it in the end is this -
player gets sent off for a shoulder charge or high tackle so down to 12 men. Yet when a HIA either leads to a player being off for 15 or the rest of the game and it could be a key player, your team suffers and the infringing club/player doesn't until the next week. Broken. Doesn't work. The HIA is often caused by intent, not always incidental as some would say.

857 this week which sees me drop over 600 places to be ranked in the 1400’s. Ouch!
My trade of Wilton to Lolo did not work out as planned. Cash gen has been good but I feel a gun short watching Grant and Teddy run riot.
Thinking I’ll be taking the punt on A.Elliot this week plus maybe a Papy replacement?

So playing TMM in my team was somehow not as bad as watching the Warriors...
Can't wait for the NFL to start and I can watch the Packers instead

I do like watching the nfl but I've never seen a game last so long they play 60 mins & it usually takes about 3 hrs to complete. The first team I followed was the Steelers just because they wore black. They had some legends of the game in that team.

Yeah it sure does take a while, but it is what it is, u either like it or u don't regardless of time.
The Steel Curtain was what the Steele's were known for a while back, defensively. Bradshaw a notable QB OR Bettis a famous RB.

Yep. I watched one game once many years ago and there were constant stoppages and measurements. Never again. I feel the NRL is slowly heading in the same direction.

yeah this. I don't like NFL, just can't get interested in it. got pretty into MLB last years playoffs. haven't watched much so far this season, there's just so many games its hard to keep up. will ramp up again when playoffs come around.
