Burned me already this season going from 40s to 20s after I bought him. He's at a reasonable price now but probably goes to Origin camp as 1, 14 or 18.

I'm looking at taking a punt on Hoy if he retains that spot, though not sure what Knights will do going forward. Also not Rd 13

Not liking our odds in the QB market

That we went from Favre to Rodgers was absolutely amazing, as a Packer fan it can be easy to forget how hard it is to get a franchise QB who can take u to the playoffs regularly.

Please forgive lads, i let the Mrs watch netball instead of the Storm game and missed the nature of Papz injury. What happened?
Not getting in to the PTSD of Aitken injured and Wilton and Nicho running riot ruining both my H2Hs, on top of being a NZer, i mean Warriors fan...

He copped an injury to his left knee during the first half, but was able to run it off. Came out 2nd half with it strapped. Chased a breakaway try to score it but grabbed his other hammy straight after.

Yep he was gun. Brought him in Round 11 last year and he averaged 55 for the rest of the season and went from 480k to 680k.

In saying that, his price then was what made him appealing. Manu at 600k right now is kinda eh and you sort of get what you're paying for

I think by the end of the year, Aitken and Burton will be the CTR pairing for everyone, with Manu or Talakai trailing them. Maybe Gagai if the Knights get it back together at all

600k for a back up CTR/WFB is pretty dear. In saying that he probably just acts as a Teddy handcuff and will play FB whenever Teddy is out.

He was also in great form last year and scoring tries at will - 5 games in a row at one stage. His scores without tries are pretty average, so you're betting on the Roosters' overall form

He's not a bad buy by any stretch, but I'd be wary about him is all

my thoughts are that he is the best WFB playing round 13 (it's really just him and Garrick with Edwards in 3rd place) and that he can still score points if the Roosters aren't winning.

I intend to sell him in round 15-17 to get Papy back (assuming Papy returns in round 14 that means I get a look to see if Papy's fully fit), as Papy will be a must for round 17

That said if I do need to keep him (or can get Papy by other means) that's fine as he's basically a keeper centre in his own right, he could get another fullback game in round 18 if Teddy doesn't back up.

It was 13492, 14072, and 13901 for Rounds 6 through to Round 8

This round it's 13757, from $131,489,000 worth of players scoring 9558 fantasy points

Roosters next 7 is brutal bar the Rd 13 game Eels Panthers Sharks RAIDERS Storm Eels Panthers. Roosters are actually pretty junk and Manu has 4 scores between 22 and 34 without tries

I don't think it's that bad for Manu tbh

Cowboys and Tigers showed the league how to beat Parra, and Tago is a bit suspect in defence so I don't think it's impossible that Manu gets results against them either.

Against the Sharks he'd be running at Talakai who isn't the fastest moving laterally as we saw against Brisbane.

The Storm game is probably his worst matchup but odds are he plays that at fullback, a position in which he averages a lot more than at centre.

Read this on the NRL.com fantasy review

Having scored 82 in a losing side, Burton is fast becoming a must-own for coaches.

lol a few weeks ago the fantasy Q&A said he's safely a sell. Most of us have. A try and 11 tackle breaks is an outlier score.

I have to laugh though that after I sold him he scored 52 and 82. Right on cue.
