At least Ese'ese is dirt cheap (still a very questionable buy). Suggesting Gildart - who has 50% of his scores in the teens this year - presumably because he scored a 53 with a try and three line-breaks last week is just insanity. 348k centre so priced at 25 and averaging 26.8. The justification was that he has a good draw, but the Tigers have got Cowboys, Dogs, Rabbitohs, Manly coming up, I wouldn't say that's a particularly favourable draw? Just weird, actively bad advice.

Not only that but Gildart was dropped recently, and could be again when players return from injury.

The one thing I do support new lone scout on is questioning Adam Elliott

All pre-season every time Raiders forwards are mentioned, someone will bring up Ricky and his constantly changing rotations. Now Elliott has started at hooker twice and people have decided its a season long occurrence.

Quite a bit of Schneider trade out talk, and he's been traded out for the community team.

Am I being overly optimistic that he is a hold for rd13? (unless he loses his spot of course which still seems unlikely to me). Two bad scores in a row but before that he was very solid. I have no plans to cut him loose just yet

His base has dropped off quite a bit compared to previous weeks, I would trade him this week if not for Papy's injury but he's fine to hold this week if you need to.

Oh wow, would've guessed Gildart was closer to 284k. I still wouldn't want him, but you'd possibly do it as a cashout to facilitate a gun who can be used in an emergency if he was sub-300k.

The previous Scouts knew the audience and wouldn't go there, or even make a case for a much more reasonable hunch/POD play (unless there were massive qualifiers). Because it's better to not take a shot than take it and miss in that gig I reckon

For those that care, CK and Lone Scout are both available as celebrity coaches.

    CK ranked 5769
    Lone Scount ranked 2518

Both higher than our community team

Paulie G ranked 19667 (had both Vailea and Koula in his 17 last week, with Rushton and Sschiller stuck in his NPRs)

Andrew M (also from the Late Mail Crew) is ranked 40909. He only fielded 16 players last week, with Olakau'atu, Haas, Schiller, Rushton, Davey in his team

The Late Mail Discord team is doing pretty well and ranked 996. They are winning the "Celebrity League" set up for our community team

With Fogarty back soon, its not even a guarantee he'll play in round 13

Fogarty back training. Schneider might not be in team for Rd 13. 45 BE. Could lose 20k that could be better put toward a cow or gun

If you traded Burton out like I did, would you give any consideration to bringing him back as a keeper CTR or just deal with the fact you messed up and traded him out before his best scores.

Are his sub 40 scores behind him or is the 52 and 82 the anomalies?

Is Lone Scout still Dom Brock or did he move on?

If so maybe it’s Paulie G now?

I have this conundrum and am leaning towards trading him back in

Which I am normally deadest against

I expect to be disappointed, but I’ve had plenty of those

Instead of Elliot I just went straight to TPJ. I expect a half decent base price forward cow to arrive at some stage……

Also it locks in my trades from the first game so I can have a cruisy weekend

I haven't owned Burton but I was thinking about grabbing him.

Would mean i have to forgo Harris though.. and get someone else who is a bit cheaper. (654k or cheaper.. Angus.. McInnes..)

Burton would be instead of Elliott (who i'm not 100% on due to Ricky'isms)
