Yeah, Ricky does seem to really rate him.

Love your thinking, sounds a very likely option if he has another good game this week. Avoiding.

I did that;
A few weeks ago I decided I wanted T.May in my team just before the last game of the round, so it had to be a Panther or Bulldog traded out. Burton was the only one available, so he got the chop !
I also got Talakai before his 100+ game so he has given me some good scores and about $170k but teams have worked him out now so he has to go before he loses all the cash he made.
This week Talakai becomes Burton with a view to the bye !!

I've always been a somewhat 'decent enough' fantasy player but I've always made this mistake of avoiding players only because of the 'what ifs' and potential circumstances that could occur down the line. Most often than not, it's bit me in the ass. I've done it again a few times this year already.
Elliot looks solid, Ricky loves him and it's clear he has a decent role in the team. At sub 450K with DPP and playable possibly all year, it's a punt that an even a non betting man like myself should take up. If it goes tits up, I'll cop that without regret because if it does pay off, it's a huge win in a long hard season.

I think those that miss a Trbojevic at $288k coming off a 64 with a negative BE, will look back on that decision in a few weeks, going what was I thinking? Harper has played his way out of the team, at the same time as Burbo has played his way into it. Parker is out for a while. Plays the bye. With Turbo playing, Manly backs can score anything.

He got off lightly. Going soft in the old age

Well at least I hope one comes along
