Was thinking it was generally backs that took a while to gwt up to speed after acl return and PYTM seemed to have confirmed that.

Does anyone know what's going on with Brodie Jones? The casualty ward on NRL.com says "elbow, Round 10), but he hasn't been selected in a 24-man squad for this week.

Davey back killing my loop lol. A questionable R13 player though. I shouldn't complain. Is Kodi going to steal minutes from Cook? Who else does he take minutes off from?

Both Grade 3 Careless. First offence for Kennedy, while Ramien has priors.

Ramien was way worse imo. Kennedy got less with no judicial history

I think Kennedy was a grade 3 careless, which is 2 weeks with an early plea. Whereas Ramien was grade 3 shoulder charge, which is 3 weeks with an early plea

They were both terrible examples of the kind of tackle. But Ramiens definitely worse in terms of danger, and warrants the extra week. Should’ve been sent. Although Sharks might’ve won by even more with the numbers disadvantage being greater for longer

Kennedy clothes-line that he was sent off for was far worse than the Ramien tackle, but he got a week's less suspension for it.

Priors only matter for the exact same offence. Ramiens earlier fine this season was grade 1 careless, so no loading for a shoulder charge

I dunno man. I'd personally rather be grabbed around the neck/chin as I run by than face a shoulder charge to the head.

I mean, the outcomes for Walsh (nothing) v Aitken (failed HIA and "very sore" according to his fiance) are telling as well.

Carry-over points were a clean slate, not offences. Takes 7 years to wipe that clean.

I’m on the other side of the fence on this one. Ramien should have been sent too but the refs were too gutless to put them down to 11.

So yeah he gets the 3 weeks because he’s already been fined this year for a careless.

Might've been wrong on part of that. Could just be 12 months since a previous incident to wipe that off the record. Who knows anymore when they change rules a day before the season and tweak as the season goes.

Coathangers always look more spectacular but the Ramien tackle had the potential to be far more consequential. Dunno how anyone could think it wasn’t the worst of the two, unless you only watch them both once
