How about those Broncos eh? Zero from two with the tipping and three for less than 100 in the fantasy but I expect that’s about par.

A few people with some frowns they need to turn upside down around posting tonight 😉
you're not wrong! Jeez what a buzzkill I was tonight.

Did enjoy the footy though, happy days Broncs supporters, the team looking a million bucks.

Yeah Broncos looked pretty great, I'm not feeling good about how Ponga will go against them but who knows, he got 27 tonight but 40s in games they got smashed in so it might even help him.

Got my eye on Mat Croker if he can stay in the team, that bloke looks the goods

Take Koula 33 or play Coates?

And if the answer is take the Koula 33, then play Coates, Ilias or Schneider?

    Thanks.

33? you have to spin the wheel (although it is Coates) I’ll be playing koula because I have to and probably picking ilineider out of the rest (stupidly gave Leo pole spot)….ilias

Take Koula, play ilias if I’m in your position,

Don’t think Coates scores well against Penrith defence

Schneider isn’t up to much and Canberra are about to get slapped up (might get tackles)

Ilias is playing weakest opposition and improving week on week

Fwiw I doubt there will be a huge array of scores - so probs go with your natural bias/fun

I’m thinking of playing Koula’s 33 for either Tago or Crichton. Both are averaging higher, but I also have Cleary and May, so a fourth Panther back in that Storm game could be overkill when its inevitably played in the middle.

Whenever anyone asks if they should take X or play Y, i hope they make the wrong choice.  Twisted Evil

Cheers fellas. I was leaning towards take the 33 and Ilias. Agreed there won't be a huge difference.

    Seconded.

Had a sneaky little loop set up tonight that I could choose out of Edrick, Leo or Koula. Thank you Edrick for your worthy service. If only that try-assist was not pulled up.

Just wish I'd found a way to sneak Walters in the loop for a couple more greedy points.

Funny ol' night, if scoring shit in Fantasy is what one considers funny.

I was out at a function tonight watching my little ones score some sweet Little Athletics trophies, but I kept an eye on the phone for scores in that first game. Imagine my joy when I looked at half time to see Burton, Edrick and Randall all on 30 points, give or take. For the next 40 minutes, though, I wondered if the game had been called off, or the Fantasy app was frozen, or what the balls, as all three of them only scored 7-12 more points in the entire second half. Not to mention MKing scoring as low as possible in the one week all year I actually play someone without hm in their team, and Leo not even remotely making his obligatory 28, by quite a bit.

All in all, a smacked testicle evening for Fantasy, but a good night out. How can a night out go wrong with Bay Rd Motor Boat Pale Ales, $4.50 on tap? I double taked (or took?) and asked the dude behind the bar why, and he had no answer. But it was sweet. Bringing back 1990 pricing for a fine local ale.

Funniest thing of the night is Walters will stay in my team another week, lol. Bring on next week's 9 points.

Koula down to 32, in case that somehow makes a significant difference in looping decisions.

Weird that Manly would watch Papenhuyzen and Latrell this year both play half busted and hurt themselves further then do the same with Turbo, who is made of string cheese, in a game they'd already lost

Are we sure Turbo was busted? As opposed to Manly playing shit and him being a fullback on a pitch that was falling apart and hardly ideal for top-of-the ground running?

Christ knows what it'll be like by Sunday.

He looked ginger for most of the night; limping and low energy. At his best and fittest he’s always around the ball. Barely saw him looming up in support anywhere tonight. There was a moment where I was sure he’d score if he had stayed with DCE after passing him the ball, but he just kind of dropped off and DCE got held up. That knee still seems to be hurting him regardless of what Des says.

No fucking idea what I'm doing wrong and why I'm going so bad.

Sorry for the pity party but just can't seem to figure out what I'm doing wrong.

I’m about 300 points ahead of you, ranked in the 5,000s. So there’ll be others who can give you better advice. Had a look at your team and trades - agree most of the trades look like they made sense and you’ve just been a bit unlucky eg jumping off Fifita before he went on his little run. Did you have a lot of cash sitting on the sideline waiting to pick up Cleary? The strategy of waiting and picking up Cleary early may have backfired, which again is a bit unlucky. If he’d scored big in that first week, you would have been laughing.

I’d say your team value is a bit low and you probably needed to go a bit harder earlier to generate cash to pick up a couple more guns at this stage. I think you’re on the right track though and you should see improvement in the next few rounds.

Worth having a look at Mulvy or DK’s team, both of whom are riding high. Ando too, but I don’t know his team name. Mulvy, MS and few others have done some excellent posts in the past on how to build a team through the year.
