That's a massive start for sure.
You may be interested to know that 8 out of the top 10 from the first bye last year ended up in the final Lord of the Byes top 10

Well, as a LOTB virgin, missing the Top 20 for the Bludgers is not exactly surprising.
Could only manage 12 players in Rd.13, 666 surely must mean something.

FWIW you came in at #22, one spot below the MTB.
I wouldn't get to caught up in placings after the first round of LOTB, there are still 5 important rounds to go and as with all NRL Fantasy - every year is different, every year presents new challenges.

LORD of the BYES 2 - Round 14 Results
LORD of the BYES - Round 14 Results
================================
All teams managed to field 17 this week, quite a difference on a year ago when less than half were able to.
It was a great week for many fanatics, with 23 out of the 53 teams scoring a 1000 or more, and plenty of rank gains to be had.
Snatchpato made the biggest rank gains this week.
Bullbender continues to climb the ranks and tops the table for the most rank improvement for the second week in a row - gaining over 8,500 places in just two weeks. Keep it going!
Finally, in Bunter's relative rank improver leaderboard we see the percentage of teams ahead of each team prior to Round 13, that they have managed to overtake.
With huge percentage gains from the 3 top 10 overall players, and 6 in the top 100.

Re: LORD of the BYES 2
Love your work ET. This must take a bunch of work, it's much appreciated. Will be interesting to see if anyone's willing to throw away the season by using every single trade over the next 3 weeks to try and take down LOTB!
A prestigious title, worthy of throwing away a full overall and H2H season.

Thanks SP.
It does take a fair bit of work each week, but hopefully adds some mid-season value/entertainment to us fantasy tragics that love the challenges that bye planning brings.
I probably wouldn't recommend throwing away a full overall/H2H season for the title - if done well it should be complimentary to overall season aspirations (not so much H2H).
Just for interest;
Pain managed 25 players over the two bye-rounds last year and beat TheWeapon who had the most at 27 players (the average across LOTB was 20.5).
Another entrant had 26 and ended more than 250 points behind Pain - numbers of players are important, but quality makes the difference.

Thank you both as well.
Even after just two rounds I'd say the standard/performance across the LOTB comp is a step up from last year.
It's still realistic for anyone in the top 20 to win it, but the top 4 separated by only 7 points shows how close it is right now.

Don’t we all love the game. I won’t be seeing my team in any of the leaderboards after this round is finished, unless it’s for rank drops.
