Gone are the days of shuffling deck chairs with a bit of lineup tinkering and last-minute trades.
This is your chance to showcase your team management prowess as you strategically assemble your squad to weather the tumultuous storm of the impending bye rounds, Origin selections and hamstring injuries all with your own unique sense of style and fun.

Will you emerge victorious?
Will you stand tall atop the fantasy football world, or will you be left adrift in a sea of shattered dreams and missed opportunities?
Prepare to chart your course, plot your tactics, tabulate your spreadsheets and secure your laptop, ready to outmaneuver your rivals as you vie for supremacy in the NRL Fantasy universe and be crowned the 2024 Lord of the Byes.



LORD of the BYES is a rapid, action-packed shoot-out over the notoriously challenging bye period.
As with last year, it’s an 8-week shoot-out featuring 3 major and 3 minor byes - how well can you navigate these unchartered waters?
Have you been squirrelling away trades, and have you been maximising team value ready to dominate the tricky bye period?

We start from Round 13, with one goal;
to maximise enough points to take the crown of the Ultimate LORD of the BYES.

Rounds 13 to 20 will reveal which Fantasy Fanatic is the greatest BYE-round exponent as we crown:
The Lord (or Lady) of the Byes


Winner gets:
Mass-respect!
A title that you can to your profile.
The opportunity to the elite company of former winners.
All the good that comes with being a supreme bye-player - last year we had 10 teams in the top 80 by the end of the competition.

Additional Awards:
The biggest rank gain (you have to be in the FOG comp to contest this).
BYE rounds Master: most points accrued in Round 13, Round 16 and Round 19 specifically.

A few rules:
Get your entry in before the first game of Round 13
The competition runs from Round 13 through to and including the minor bye-round of Round 20.

You must use your existing FOG team.
No new registration teams are allowed (it's about managing the tricky period with a normal volume of trades left).

What is encouraged:
- Encouragement to your competition
- You are welcome to list your Bye-friendly squads.
- You are welcome to celebrate your successes or great learnings.
- Numbers are great, how many are you playing for Round 13, Round 16, Round 19?
- Strategy ideas
- Having a crack, even if it goes peer-shaped
- POD's and no-brainer selections
- How much your ranking has moved
- You are welcome to use GIF's

Christmas has come early.

Y'all are in danger, I have a rank of 15k and I plan on being in the top 1k by end of the bye period.

Unlikely to get the Top Rank Improver title, but will do my best to accumulate most points

I'm in. This year I have 45,000+ ranks to improve - that's got to help with the rank improvement title.

You should be able to do that yourself WL

With your WAG's team go into the greyed out Settings tab of the Lord of the Byes league. At the bottom of the page there should be a red "Leave this League" button. Click on that and then confirm and you're team should be out
