To the point where a casual player with a good instinct/analytical approach could probably read those 2 articles, take 15 minutes to make their trade choices, and with a slice of luck do quite well. Not sure that's true anymore.

Just makes it easier for the serious players who spend the time researching, discussing options on a forum like this to do better.

Torn between trading HG9 or Papy out this week. Would have to be Papy right? No idea on return date, injuries to both legs meaning he could take a while to re-gain that confidence back or am i underestimating his beautiful blonde mullet

I cant get Tohu without double trading and I have no faith in Savage or Kiraz so might see how Koula goes tonight if he can punch out a 30 I may just run with that and hope Harris drops a bit of coin for next week.

It really has got terrible the moment CK departed NRL.com

CK (and Dom Brock before him) definitely jumped off a sinking ship.

The write-ups for the Team Lists and Late Mail on NRL.com are pretty bad. It's like they are written by unpaid interns/work experience kids.

That's an interesting one. Any chance he misses Origin and plays R13? Unlikely I'd think, but could be a massive POD with 0.02% ownership in the top 5000. 76 BE so easy wait and see at this stage.

Hey AR. I think you should buy Kiraz this week to free up the cash for Tohu. Kiraz seems like a no-brainer to me (unless I'm missing something).⅚

is Burton worth paying 680k for? My depth would be a lot better with a gun centre, and he seems like a keeper so I would only need to use one trade, whereas buying a guy like Butcher will probably need two.

Main downside of Burton is that if I go him, I don't have the money to jump at someone like Tohu or Fifita (due back this week and could play 13) next week, but my forward pack is pretty loaded already (starters are Cook, Haas, Cotter, Elliott, Matto, Ipap)

He looks good for busting some tackles and some cheap offloads coming out of his own end. That's all you can ask for. Tries would be a bonus.

Just running a few scenarios, if I pull the trigger on Schneider to Butcher, I should be able to do the following next week if price changes are kind:

Ilias, Taaffe, Penisini, Lolo/Hunt to Tohu, Burton, Savage, RFM.

Lock it in that now I've put that out in the world someone will go massive, bleed cash, or there'll be an injury throwing a spanner in the words, but it's nice to dream.

This week, Kiraz wins. Come next week though, it could be a different story.

    DT late mail:
Jackson Hastings remains in severe doubt for the clash with South Sydney having spent the week in a moonboot. While reportedly desperate to play, the club will be tempted to give him a rest with the bye next week. If ruled out, Jock Madden would join Luke Brooks in the halves, who also has to get through Friday’s captain’s run successfully to be cleared to return from a hamstring injury.

What is the injury Hastings has? I feel they rest him this week, but it seems an ongoing issue?

Tohu is a must-have for me, Fifita not so much. Burton is a luxury in the worst team in the comp, I have them both. It would really depend on the number of trades you have left and your R13 coverage, but you could do worse than Burton.
