Haas to raiders. Makes sense. Croker medical retirement. That’s 700k a year. Haas, papali and tapine up front. Doesn’t matter how shit our back line is

Yeah I'd rather Rudolf or Uele than Haas, no exaggeration either. That coin, that output. The big contracts get signed to early and alot of them don't live up to the expectation.

I've decided to say sayonara to both of those loyal foot soldiers....I think AOB can play Crossland that many minutes again, I think AOB is pretty desperate at this stage.

Have to decide between these three for two trade outs.. How'd you rank em? Lolo, Tuilagi and Randall

Tuilagi and Randall probably lose cash, Lolo at least holds value for a week and you can re-evaluate. That'd be my thinking.

Honestly, as good as Haas is on the field, my patience for his attitude is wearing thin, I’m about at the point where if there’s a cashed-up basketcase willing to ruin their salary cap overpaying a prop then let him go, if he was worth over a million, we wouldn’t have a wooden spoon in our cabinet.

Storm have a shit load of cap space, with all the players leaving at the end of this season. Could see him going there easily.

Why wouldn't he want more money? Hes an exceptional player in a sport that doesn't really pay that much compared to other high contact sports. You only get a good 10 years, might as well make the most of it

He accepted and signed his current contract though. If he misses the season through injury or suspension, or has a run of poor form, he still gets the same amount - the club can’t ask for a discount.

Find it odd that players sign a contract then demand more after the fact because they are playing well or find out someone else is on more.

News Corp had obtained details of Haas’ proposed new Broncos deal.

This season, Haas is on $750,000. Next year, the Blues bookend stands to pocket $850,000 and $950,000 in 2024. Should he ink the extension, Haas would enter the NRL’s elite $1 million club, earning $1.05 million for seasons 2025, 2026 and 2027.

Haas also has a club-approved sponsored car worth $25,000 annually.

In total, his Broncos package is valued at $5.85 million.

But those figures ultimately weren’t palatable to Haas. His new management believed he was worth $1 million now with a view to Haas being the highest-paid player in the game on $1.2 million in 2024.

I think a couple mentioned they would bring him in this week if he scored ok

Catching up haven't really seen his name mentioned probably due to other pressing concerns which happens
To be honest my team is getting smashed with gun injuries so plugging holes too

Seems a good option for the bench or at worst a good loop option if you are into that

You were the one that mentioned. I posted couldn't remember which username but lot of red in profile picture lol

I have no problem with players going after as much as they can with their contracts. If the market thinks you're worth it then go for it. They have only 10-15 years max to earn as much as they can. If we were in that position we'd do the same thing ourselves.

Got distracted by work Very Happy but yes that is how I would rank them as well....i'm ditching Lolo this week because I got rid of Tuilagi last week for Butcher. Tohu in this week for Lolo....was looking at some more mid rangers but decided to bite the bullet

I read its Kris starts and Schiller to bench. Sorry, can't remember source.

Longer-term I guess Valemei is in the mix too.
