No knee jerk reactions. Not after 80 minutes of the season fellas!

in my first year I traded him out after that game.... looks like I picked a whole bouquet of oopsie daisies

Lets all remember that this is 1 game of round 1 lads...

    Parker scored a 37 R1 last year

sucks when your excitement gets drained by a low score, but if it came 6 rounds into the season after some solid scores beforehand then its much easier to overlook

    keep the faith

Hi guys, completely missed the game.
Only had Gordon tonight (and Gutherson NPR).
Reading all the comments on Gordon, just wondering if kick defusals have been added?
Should I expect his score to go up?

I've mistakenly put in Kodi Nikorima instead of Jayden Nikorima in the halves.

    What a BONEHEAD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Regarding Gordon, Roberts etc (and other backs who underperform this week), remember that backs are very volatile scorers. The best strategy as far as I know is to spend the majority of your $$ in your forwards. Players who are far more consistent and who's price won't drop much, if at all during the season.

Backs. Well all you need to do is wait for a couple of 15's and 20's and they are ripe for the pickings. I'm thinking mainly of Shaun Johnson last year - he dropped to around 320k from memory.

If you've picked Gordon and Roberts in your side, you'd be mad to trade them after 1 poor round where neither saw any ball whatsoever. You picked them for a reason. Gordon will make cash eventually.

Gordon disappointing, but as has been pointed out it's one game. Happy enough with my last minute trade in of Gillett - could have been brilliant had that try not been called back as a forward pass.

Anyone know if Fanleage has more accurate scores than on-site this year, at this stage of end of match?

Hi all, missed all the game tonight, stupid work.

I am still waivering on last selection, turner vs rochow.

Rochow is obviously the safest, but if he only averages 40 I will be lucky to make 50k off him. Where as turner will net 90k with the same average. Ignoring injuries (worked with Tedesco/GStewart last year), when Gurgess is back round 2, that should see Surgess shift to 13 and Turner to backrow and carter shuffling out? Is that the general train of thought? Obviously we won't know until next TLT if that is the case.

My main question is, if Turner gets shifted to backrow, what did he historically score in that position/peoples projections for him. Milchow's spreadsheet wont work on my comp

    Funnily enough

Round 1 last year Gillett also top scored out of the Donkeys forwards and Parker scored a fair bit below his avg...

Semi Radradra's opening round hat-trick spree has also come to an end

Only had Parker tonight. Didn't get to watch the game but seems he still played well. Will score between 50 and 70 odd so nothing disastrous. He is (VC) for me, DCE(C).

Wouldn't be too concerned about a 1 off score from anyone. Even a ranking in week 1 can get changed dramatically the following week. I'd be more worried if there was a reason for scores (like form, TOG, role).
