I'm more surprised that over 12,000 people had Oates in their side....

I can't recall, wasn't it the case a player could go down from their rookie pricing? Or was that in 2014? Maybe it's the case that their price doesn't go down but their break even just gets bigger? If so that's good news.Milchcow wrote:

I'm pretty sure last year the floor on players was capped to 130k. No matter how hard Kodi Nikorima tried he couldn't get any cheaper haha

Also, happy with my McGuire pick. Broke even. That's a good start. According to the fantasy site he played 53 mins, hopefully that is bumped up to 60min avg for the season.
Coincidentally, regarding stats, didn't NRLstats.com used to have mins played? Can't see it on there anymore. Is there another stats site which has reliable mins? Cos the fantasy site currently has Moeroa at 112mins lol.

Yeah nice, thanks. Glad about that, can't imagine what Eden would have gone down to otherwise.Liverpool_Bulldog wrote:I'm pretty sure last year the floor on players was capped to 130k. No matter how hard Kodi Nikorima tried he couldn't get any cheaper haha

In 2014 players dropped to values like $80k.
Last year purchase/sale price was capped at minimum. But the underlying value could still drop.
So before they can make a profit for you, they have to regain any list value hidden by the price cap.
Last year Niko ended up with a BE of 60 or something, despite never making a cent

NRLStats don't show minutes until the game is 'final'

yah i was a little worried but to score 40 in a game he didnt absolutely nothing, i'll take that. three missed tackles but one he kind of just put his hand on someone and was never actually trying to tackle htem, and hte other he let go of the bronco player cos he thought the tackle was complete and the player got up and kept running. haha. take those out and its 45, so fairly solid.
not sure if normans injury affected his mins/interchange.

I agree and NRLstats have him down for 2 offloads as well even thought the game isn't final yet
Whoever fanhub uses for stats are very inconsistent. I remember last year there were so many discrepancies between stats providers it was becoming more a lucky dip

i think its still prozone.
the NRL should really bring it all internal (although they'd probably fuck it up more?).
anyway i was thinking last night that the bunker should also double as the stats guys hub

Whats peoples thoughts on bennet using his last 2 changes with ten mins to go. If someone goes down the bronco will be forced to play with 12 men for how many mins are left.

I have a bit of a fantasy man crush on the lad. I love the way he plays. He is a similar mould to Tom Trbo just bigger.
I wish I held my nerve and kept him in my main team. Traded him out for Gordon for more "reliable" scores.

Moeroa played 10-15 more minutes than I would have thought. He went off about 33 minutes in and returned after halftime because of the injury to Norman. Kenny Edwards would probably have played until 60-65 minutes into the game at lock but went to half hence Moeroa came back on. Even though he made plenty of tackles etc he missed 3 really bad ones, namely the one where Oates went through the middle and broke five tackles but it was him and Mannah that missed the first up one. He tried to put a really big shot on. Anyway my guess is he plays 50 minutes for an average of 35. Not too much upside.
