Don't care what form he's in or whether or not he "deserve" it, NSW players will be absolutely delighted that Fifita is not in the Queensland team.

Still pretty hard to buy for fantasy if he's only getting 50 bench minutes for the Titans.

As soon as the shops open I’ll be doing the best I can do try and get all three if I can. It will probably mean losing a TPJ/Lolo but will try my best

I'm interested to see where he goes from here after a couple of big scores in a row based on entirely different sets of stats....holding

More money to be made and could be a borderline keeper as well.

I still feel salty selling him so early on.

Hold for me. Not as much cash sitting on the sidelines as someone like Teddy or Haas who can be sold to pretty much any gun of your choosing. Will look to move Nanai on in 17 for a keeper once his price has risen a little more

Theoretically he's a hold, but he doesn't have a massive amount of money left to make so I'll sell him if I need to, going to Gus for example could be a 60pt boost this week + 15pts a week after that. Got to weigh up the options first.

DiFi and Angus both playing R13 opens up some interesting options. Glad I already have Angus.

Probably want to get Tohu, Burton, and DiFi in this week, but will only be able to afford 2.

Surely Freddy is taking the piss with this take.

    LATEST

Expect Jack Wighton to play in the centres for NSW. Means Stephen Crichton will be bench utility.

Nicho Hynes 18th man. Frizell not in 17

Thought it would be Wighton and Crichton

Plus this way Schneider can have one more game.

Fittler must really love Sims given Friz not in 18, Angus not in squad

Same, think I’m skipping Burton. He’s now a bit overpriced and I’m not flushed with cash enough to be buying CTRs at full retail

The time to get him back, in hindsight, was R10 when I got Turbo. Didn’t at R12 because thought he might be an outside chance for Origin

Definitely getting Tohu, Fifita needs to start IMO. Manu has annoyingly pushed his price up when he was supposed to drop below 600k

The mind games begin. Except this time, instead of the old master (Bennet) messing with the young buck (Freddy) it's Slater / CS9 etc. who are now facing the task of their first real coaching gig.
If Scritta is picked, it's as the starting centre. If he isn't in as centre, then he's no use.
The coin toss will be between Wighton (proven performer) over the shiny new toy (Hynes) as bench utility.

I was thinking about selling Teddy because he could easily be 100k less on the other side of Origin. Lack of alternative WFB options spooking me a bit though.

Haas I half expect to score better backing up from Origin because he’s a machine

Despite club rumours and form, Sims has always loved SOO and performed well in that arena.
Closest forward to being Maroons-like (and that's a big compliment) in the current Blues pack.
Once Gal retired, Sims has played that mongrel role to get in the Qld pack's faces etc.
If he's not playing, who's going to be the enforcer?

I wasn't planning to sell Teddy when I bought him at 614k but he has scored so many points and made so much money this is probably close to his peak. Papy when he returns can probably do the same job for 100k less. Latrell for <600k and Ponga sending his price back towards 500k are good value for money alternatives as well. To'o at ~530k probably a nice option as well

    Open for trading.
    Burned through 4 trades.
    Lolo + Ilias + Meaney + Penis > Angus + Tohu + Aitken + Kris.

Means I have 12 starters, and a bench of Cotter, Nanai & Cleary (all SOO).
But, 12 playing with 3 keepers picked-up sounds like a pretty good deal.
Rd.13 will either make or break the Bludgers season 22.

Maroon-like just means they have players that lack the same talent level but put in

I’d rather pick guys that have both talent and put in, like Friz

When we had an enforcer like Gal, we still lost a lot. You don’t win by getting in peoples faces. These guys are professional athletes. You win by being a better footy team which usually means having the best players.

If you’re not picking the best players for rep footy, what’s the point? I mean I get club combos but picking players because they are “made for Origin” is just mythology.

    Ilias > Savage
    Hastings > Harris
    Crichton > Angus
    TPJ > Fifita

Tear it all apart I say
