Really should have looked at bye planning and not fucking about on trades.

I’ve got 16 trades left (80k). Only 8 players this week before trades. A huge list of trade outs to deal with.

At a cross roads now. My obvious weak points are mids (bulk dpps thiugh)and ctrs and wfb.

    My first thought was:

I’ll use three trades this week. With the aim of bringing in Aitken, Harris and someone cheap (probably savage). This really strengthens my 1-13. But my bench is still pretty fucked beyond the first bye. I’ll end up carrying savage, people, taffe, koula, thompson. This is a bad outcome, with only 13 trades left.

    Second option:

Two trades: scrita + taffe to aitken and savage.
Less trades, helps sure up ctrs.

Moving forward I need to bring in teddy and pap. That will be a huge battle given my 17-21.

Anyone got an ideas, medium term on how to approach?

    Team currently looks like

    Robson
    Matterson, Jking, Mking
    Angus, Ipap
    Cleary, dce
    Tago, penis
    May, scrita, hynes

    Starling, hasting, Elliot, illias

    Koula, peoples, thompson, taffe.

Attempts to generate cash flow have been a failure, taffe, people are two poor trades choices.

    Very solid.

I'm at 14 and likely just making one trade this week.

I think a good point worth raising for byes.

It’s not always worth increasing your bye player stocks with coin goats (I.e savage koula).

Utility for a player beyond rd13 is very important. No point bringing in a spud purely to get 15pts and no price rise.

I personally see Savage as just a cash out, not a money maker, who will get points in Round 13 as a plus with the hope that he becomes a red dot purely for looping

Would obviously rather a base cash out who has money to make (maybe at 4pm) but he looks the best base option right now

Savage and Koula have use up until the second bye and then you can flick them to a base pricer in that round that could have some long term usage.

Savage probably has 4 weeks left at FB and he has scored a 70+ there before so hit and hope i say. He’s more an enabler yes but there is a chance he surprises

Just Ilias to Tohu for me.

Have my eye on Moses and McInnes next week.

Getting Ipap and Pap in before round 17 will be my stress.

Yeah mate, I'm carrying Saab and probably Savage (unless another 220k player pops up).

Although Koula has made 100k and I quite like him as a 19th/20th man to cover CTR and WFB. I'm not sure he counts as a spud tbh

Edit just throwing my (likely) team in spoilers for info

I have 12 before trades, will use the 4 trades so 8 left. I think I've said before I'm a trade whore.

But it could settle with 2 weeks until then next game, then another 2 week break after R15?

Truth is I don’t think there’s enough info out there to know either way

Good points for savage. Also, can’t lose money on him

I’m still kinda tempted to flip Teddy even though I don’t have the trades left to really swing it. Just think it enables iPap next week. He’s probably only playing 2/3 of the next 6 based on recent precedent

He might just get ya 20 points a week in a tough position for a little bit then ya get rid of him.
He might go gangbusters this week and then you reap the benefits of the price rises.

Or ya get something in between haha

Have 3 trades lined up at the moment

    Ilias to Harris
    Schneider to Crichton
    Thompson to Savage

Can use the 4th trade to go Tass to Walsh and I could use it to go from Hastings to DCE next week. Which option sounds better?
