Think I'll bin Ponga to Walsh to get an extra player and make some bank. Fed up of watching the Knights and all he does is remind me I should have brought in Teddy instead. Gives me 16 for the round. Also probably go Starling to Butcher despite R13 with one player leaking cash and the other on the way up. Gives a nice war chest, and running with one hooker doesn't matter since I'll be getting Mahoney as soon as R14 lockout lifts. If Fermor or TPJ aren't named, I'll have rethink and possibly take the Starling cash hit.

Could do Peoples to Savage and have 17, but doesn't seem worth the trade for now.

    Robson
    Tohu, MKing, TPJ
    Angus, Fermor
    Burton, Keary
    Tago, Vailea
    Walsh, Koula, May

    Elliott, BSmith, Starling/Butcher

    Burton or Angus captain.

Been looking at Keary. Decent scores recently and can pivot from Hastings. What were your thoughts on him? Also why not Harris as capt?

Annoyed of stupid decision to get Ponga instead of Teddy when they were not far off in price. Ponga does nothing like last game for 29. Walsh 37 been his recent ceiling. I'm probably going to move Ponga to Teddy not too distant furture and screw the byes

Harris is another captaincy option, yes. Burton and Angus probably have slightly lower floors, higher ceilings.

Got Keary last week. Doing almost all of the kicking for the Roosters and playing a lot better than he was earlier in the season post-injury. When he's on form he's one of the best two or three halves in the game, which doesn't always translate to fantasy (Cronk) but might with the Roosters' current structure. Hasn't even scored a try yet.

In an all ornothing campaign, I’ve decided to just be content with only playing 12 this round, and having 12 trades and $343K to work with in the future. Surely, it can’t be as disastrous as making Fifita captain in rounds 2-4.

Feels premature to sell Hastings, he hasn't scored under 50 at halfback until these last two weeks where he copped a sinbin and was clearly playing injured. Couple of weeks to freshen up and I still reckon he's a keeper.

I agree but you can get Keary for 9k more and replace R17 score with R13 score and one will spiral cash loss with another 30

but that's not relevant if you're intending on keeping him

Yeah Hastings to Keary seems sideways at best imo. Keary's always been a trap, strings together a few good scores and then tanks again. Even with bulk KMs he's still around the 42-44 average he's managed in recent years after being mid 30s for most of it.

Priced almost at 50 now, you'd have to be pretty lucky to get that.

This is a good point. I’m on the fence with Hastings but one less trade and one extra R17 player seems the wise choice.

    Wise words indeed.

Will probably look at Sexton and Tohu in this week for starters in a more measured approach. One is a keeper and the other should make some decent cash and provide good scores and possibly a stepping stone to a Round 17 gun if needed

As a Canberra fan, who looks more likely, Cotric or Kris?
Needed to fund my other 3 trade-ins and only want to run for 13 - 16.

    Jeez, how good are these trades;

    Jing - Crichton
    Scritta - Manu
    Hastings - Sexton
    Penis - Harris

Don't wanna lose Penis but these look pretty damn nice.

Outstanding, only hesitation would be Manu. Would have to be considered a keeper until end of season

Roosters looked awesome though and he could be huge benefactor moving forward
